I have never been disapointed by a Canadian slasher in fact.
My favorite slasher movie is a Canadian - one.
which - one ? My Bloody Valentine, of course.
Unfortunately I don't find Black Christmas, I suppose that I will have to buy it.
Valentine ( not seen ) is a love and hate movie ( if I pay attention to your posts )
Happy Birthday To Me is good, creative murders.
A Clown At Midnight reminds me the 80's a lot, at last you have this atmosphere from the 80's. Good murders, too.
Good photo - work, too.
Terror Train was not awful at all like I have read before, good photowork, atmospheric and suspenful.
Prom Night ( not sure it's Canadian )
etc ...

I love Canadian slashers! PROM NIGHT, TERROR TRAIN, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME and MY BLOODY VALENTINE are high on my list. Also, the first several seasons of THE X FILES were filmed in Vancouver.

THE FOG was set in the fictitious Antonio Bay (cool name!), California...but does anyone know where it was really filmed? Jamie Lee Curtis' Elizabeth character hitch-hiked to the coastal town from Vancouver, and kept making several references to Canada. Just wondering if the flick was filmed there.

The Fog was filmed in California, around Bodega Bay which is a short ways north of Oakland/San Francisco.
Don't forget Curtains and The Brood were made in Canada and my favorite April Fool's Day was filmed in British Columbia.
