If you could pick any artist living or dead who would you most want to see direct a horror movie. I think I would want to see Matisse go at it.

ah I love giger. I knew someone would pick him. I think the man is still alive somewhere old as dirt. That would be a cool last project.

Yeah Giger is still alive.
About a year ago he made these plaster masks, destroyed the molds, and sold them for a ridiculous amount of money.
The lead singer of korn owns two of them.

i would have to go with goya, his artwork was always quite disturbed-i think a horror movie made by him would be gorey but probobly based on some mythilogical/biblical thing

Skweem I messed up on the title in my first post I said Living or dead so I contradicted myself. Above is a conversation of the life and times of one very old H.R. giger.

Stanley Kubrick, I would defenetly have liked to see another horror film from this great director and visionary...

And since Jim Morrison actually went to film school, it would have been cool to see something by this great american poet/rock and roll god. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Salvador Dali gave us a glimpse of his cinematic vision in Alfred Hitchcock's 1945 thriller "Spellbound." The dream sequence in the film was designed by Dali, and was originally supposed to run for 20 minutes. It included a scene with Dr. Peterson covered in ants. Only part of it was filmed, and even less of it ended up in the release version. I would like to see Dali tackle a full-length pyschological horror/thriller. While I'm at it, I think I'll resurrect Hitchcock as well. And now for the magical incantation:

Klattu... Barrada... Nik... Nik... shit, I forgot the last word!
