View Full Version : Whats Betta IKWYDLS or ISKWYDLS???
I Liked ISKWYDLS cause it had alot more killing and a better twist! i mean IKWYDLS was crap with the amount of deaths... but if i had to say something screw them BOTH!!! The scream series was the BEST!!!

the SCREAM series was kickass, but im not going to say the "I KNOW" series totally stunk...
the first "i kNOW" was DECENT..it just didnt have much depth to the characters..i mean, they were paper thin..the billy badass boyfriend, cheerleader beauty queen, the serious, yet smart heroine, and the mysterious boyfriend..im not sure if WILLIAMSON meant for his characters to be this simple, but i just didnt give a damn about ANY of them!!
all in all,the "I KNOW" series is a solid series....it will be interesting to see the third part in the series..i heard they are bringing a whole new group of kids to the forefront..thats what they have to do to keep the series going, but if they arent bringing the SAME fisherman killer back, then why bother calling it a sequel??it has to be related to the first or second one in some sort of another,or else it wont make much sense i dont think..

I liked the first one but hated the second. ISKWYDLS is lazy crap. Yes the blood content is higher but everything else sucks! What was up with that white rasta dude...what a dumb character??? At least the first one had Ryan Phillip (a kool actor in my book) and a semblance of a story. The second one is basically stalk, kill, stalk, kill and has the dumbest ending... The first one is my pick.

I always thought that the story (for the first one) had far more potential than the movie itself. I loved Anne Heche's character and her appearance was a highlight of the movie. The climax ( the killer's identity ) was a letdown for me. It could have been done a lot better, but at least it had a pretty cool soundtrack.
I watched the second one a few months ago and I don't have any motivation to see it again. I don't remember everything of it, but I remember hating the Rasta-Idiot (I was glad to see him dead... am I sick? ) and hating the horny Boyfriend of Brandy even more ( maybe because he had more screen-time and lines ). I wouldn't call it a total waste of time, since the slasher-goods were there ( although pretty stupid, come on - (SPOILER )even I know what the capital of brazil is ).
If you have to watch one of the two at all, stick with the first.

The original was best...obviously. The second was there just because. Anybody know if they will drag this pony to its death with a third installment? The only reason I MIGHT go is if Hewitt finally bares all...period.

well i liked the first I Know, but i hated the second. since they killed the fine ass sarah michelle gellar she couldnt be in the second one so they replaced her with the anoying brandy. I Still Know, for me goes in the list of crappy horrors movies being made today of the likes of urban legend and scream 3. To me the last real good slasher flick was the first Scream. but since then they made nothin but dumb copy cat movies from the I Know series to the urban legeands and evan the scream sequels. Damnit i want it to stop. another thing that i want stoped is at the end of these so called horror films when the killer or killers are revealed they go in a long monalouge on why they did it, honestly do we care. I mean when the dumb girl in urban legands showed a slide show i was about ready to walk out of the movies theatre, that was not needed. and its not needed in any other horror film either.

at the time i didnt even think of the slide show project in URBAN LEGEND,but now that i think fo it,it is a VERY STUPID idea..damn..all in all though,URBAN LEGEND was a solid movie...
ISKWYDLS just didnt have many exciting characters...i mean, come on,the badass black guy, bonehead BRANDY,and the nerdy ass white dude..same shit!!!

yes, unfortunately they are making another IKWYDLS- but Freddie Prinze Jr and Jennifer Love Hewitt have both disowned the second one (and who can blame them?!) and sed they will not do a third.

Im not gonna be dumb I Know.. was the better film with a decent story. But i prefered I Still Know..Mekhi Phifer was wicked as Ty. I wish he lived it would have been a change. THe rasta guy was funny, and Jennifers tits were bigger. Overall, with the killings etc it was much more fun!

When I die and go to Hell, I want the "Rasta Man" beside me for just a second so I can shove a flaming pitchfork into his face. Both of these movies are on par for the ultimate suck competition, but my vote goes to the original as the better of the two.

I agree that the "Rasta Man" aka "Titus" was annoying, but the actor who played him was supposed to be annoying. Jack Black played Titus as a goofball. Jack Black always cracks me up and is one of the best things to happen to film ever...you may remember him from "High Fidelity", "Jesus' Son", "Enemy Of The State" not to mention films like "Dead Man Walking" and "The Cable Guy"...th guy is fucking hilarious not to mention talented. You may also remember him from "Mr. Show with Bob & David" on HBO latenight and he is in a cool rockband called Tenacious D...just a thought...take it easy on the fat fuck...everyone makes a bad decision now and again...

Personally i liked both movies, and obviously the 1st was the better. I'm not like most people, i can enjoy a movie for what it is...I'm not going to nitpick a film to death just cuz i have nothing better to do, if the movie is crap it's crap, but you can still enjoy some moments from it. I liked the 2nd one because i like when characters fight back or at least try to..it's a new tread for the 90s. Sure Brandy isn't a great actress but she did kick ass in the movie(though did anyone else notice that she was all ASS! I mean pretty flat tummy then comes the ass! Makes Jennifer Lopez look small.) I thought the 1st one had one of the best stalk scenes with SMG, i almost cried when she died..for a moment you almost thought she made it and then she had that last block before she got 187'd. A 3rd one would be a bad idea, no reason, but hell they might even make a 3rd Urban Legend..anything for profit now a days.
My 2 cents....
