Does anyone know of a message board or website I can go to, to talk to "real" horror fans? After all Halloween and Friday the 13th is baby stuff to a real collector!

You are deffinetly a lot more serious than I. I've never heard of those titles. I like Tombs of the Blind dead, Night of the Zombies, Cannibal Ferox, The Beyond, and other Italian movies.

It's fine not to like the Friday films and their ilk, however, please do not insult those of us who do. Friday the 13th pt. 2 was the first horror movie I watched and, as such, holds a special place in my (somewhat twisted) heart.

Are you speaking of actual movie collecting, or movie memorabilia, like toys, games, cards and stuff?

I consider my self a collector, I cleaned out Spencer's and the Horror shack last month of everything! I also have over 5000 horror movie titles!

I happen to have BLOOD FOR DRACULA and FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN on DVD. They are rare because they are the uncuts of Andy Warhol's Dracula and Frankenstein.

I feel a duel a-comin' on.

Dude, you are reading words from a very serious horror collector. Choose your words wisely my friend. If you are genuine in your pursuit, maybe I will share with you what memorabilia I have. Well, not LITERALLY.

I always thought that a "real" horror fan should be able to not only appreciate the more obsure gems and the Italian dishes but also find worth in the more mainstream offerings. It's called being open minded and not generalising.

Coming onto this board and calling my users not real horror fans is out of line and just plain rude. I guess the view must be real sweet from the pedestal you're on. If this board is not highbrow enough for ya, be my guest and hit the bricks. Nobody's holding you back daddy-o.
