I was watching the nightmare before christmas this morning and it got my brain humming on what horror movies would benefit from a full length claymation remake. Not cheesy claymation but full blown takes a long time good director claymation. I think phantasm would be kind of neat. If only to see the tall man made out of clay. What do you schmoes think?

Excellent Topic!!!

My brain isin't working too good today, so I doubt I'll even be able to put together a coherent post.

I think an animated Hellreaiser with Neato Burton-esque looking cenobytes'd be pretty cool.
The only thing that I found really out of place in that move was the Animated Energy lines in the beginning when whathisface opens that box. They used it again towards the end too (SPOILERS!!!!)
when the Cenobytes went back to wherever they're from. It would look more appropriate if it were animated.

Agreed, Klownzilla. Killer Klowns From Outer Space would be terrific in claymation. I guess we'll have to settle for the Alice in Chains video "I Stay Away" for the time being.

Lol Videodrome. That would be worth anyprice to see in full uncut form in glorious claymation voiced by the same main acotrs/ actresses. Stomach vaginas made out of clay...can't go wrong there. Another cronenberg classic scanners might be a good one too. Everyones ideas are all so great we can only dream can't we http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif.

The Cabinet of Dr Caligari springs to mind as good subject matter for claymation.
Or Der Golem might be kinda ironic.

Maybe even the California Raisins could make a cameo!

Nosferatu would be awesome in claymation. Not exactly horror but I'd also love to see Edward Scissorhands in claymation. Dawn of the Dead would also be interesting: All those god damn zombies! That's alot of clay...
