Dark Horizons reports the following:

Often, FOX will send out forms to their exhibitors indicating which trailers will come either 'attached' or 'loose in the can' to their upcoming film prints when they're shipped out. In the latest document, the entry for "Star Wars: Episode II" was updated to include word that a third "Minority Report" preview (no surprise there) will be attached, and quite out of the blue - a teaser for "The Matrix Reloaded" will come with the print. By 'loose' though it means not all cinemas will screen it so pick carefully. The same form also revealed a copy of "Sin Eater" & "Road to Perdition" previews will come 'loose' with prints of "Minority Report".

Coming Attractions confirms this, too. Thanks to RJ for the alert!

This definitely is AWESOME news! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Damn! This is fucking awesome news! I'm sure I'll have a good chance of seeing it. If AOTC is a good movie, I plan to see it 5 or 6 more times at different theaters.

Sounds like an awesome and predictable combination - Attack Of The Clones and The Matrix Reloaded are a perfect match as great sci-fi features.

I tohught the MPAA doesn't allow R rated movies's trailer to be shown in front of PG rated movies. after all, SW movies are always PG. but this is good news though

this isnt true...

the MPAA does not allow r rated trailers on pg or pg 13 movies... it only allows them on other r rated movies.

sorry to burst your bubble.

as I recall, the reporting sites actually say the trailer and movie are shipped seperately, but whether or not its on Ep. 2 is for the theater to decide

THE MATRIX RELOADED is not rated R yet, even if it is likely. Plus I am starting to think Episode II will be rated PG-13. It has an implied sex scene and some really dark stuff.
