Hey, I'd love to do some voice acting. I have a pretty pliable voice, but I can only do low voices. Maybe Trevor Moorehouse...no wait...uhhhh how about Crazy Henry? I can do the alzheimers thing
*convules around*
oh wait...it's a voice acting thing...hmmmm

I saw you posting about this in another thread and I'm glad you're going forward with this. I can't really help you with the voices, but I wish you the best of luck.

Jewbo, I've said this before but if you do this you'd be the fucking MAN.
And I'd love to help with the film, so if there's anything you want me to do I'd be happy to.
Things you MUST have in this:
- The opening scene, if only for the stationary fall.
- The killer's brown ass.
- Fat Larry Bird being hit with an oar.
- The stunning ending.

Hahah! How hilarious!! I'd love to possibly voice act someone in the flick. I've done lots of voice acting (I'm almost 16, with a somewhat-deep voice) projects before, and they're loads of fun. As Scully has said; do this and you'll be the fucking MAN. And I'll be able to say I acted in a lego remake of BLOODY MURDER. That is of course, if I get hired. ^_~
Heheh..if you want me in it at all, feel free to mail me at faut@hotmail.com .
And better send an e-mail to the Academy, 'cuz there's no doubt this thing would win a fucking Oscar. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

I think it makes perfect sense. Why not remake a bad movie; Bloody Murder was so COSMICALLY HORRIBLE, that a remake of it couldn't possibly be worse. So look at it that way; no matter what, it'll be a vast improvement over the source material. ^_~

Even just a piece of white card cut in the shape of a hockey mask and glued or blu-tacked onto a lego guy would look cool. If it had good holes for the eyes and the eyes were visible behind it, it'd be damn sweet.

I can do some accents, or so I've been told. I would like to audition.
ominous_oat
05-12-2002, 11:34 PM
Is there any accents in Bloody Murder? I can't remember..
Matt1plus1
05-13-2002, 12:55 AM
Of course no one in Bloody Murder had accents; that might make the characters they portray have, god forbid, character. Everyone spoke in a droning, monotonous way, which could be easilly recreated by making farting noises with your hands for hours on end.
But hey, people in LEGO Bloody Murder just might have accents! ^_~

Surfer dude for one....
Anyway, an idea for the Trevor Moorehouse mask, why don't you take a ping-pong ball and cut off the end of it (probably not and easy task) the shave down the sides until it's shaped like the mask. Then use a heated needle to melt out some eyes.

cool idea thanks ill give that ago. i just watched the film a few times and cant find my damn lego grrrr. but luckely a friend of mine has loads more than i ever had so im borrowing his.
1 problem i have just thought of is animating it. my cam wont work like that coz u cant take just 1 frame at a time. if u try it just rewinds back slightly so i gotta see if it possible 2 do without animation.

jewbo,if you can make trevor moorehouse's mask, you can basically make jason voorhees...so why not do a friday the 13th lego one when your done the bloody murder one?Just an idea for future lego projects...you should send in the bloody murder lego movie short to the people of bloody murder to see if theyll add it on the extras feature of bloody murder 3 or the bloody murder box set,you know they will make enough for a box set,not that thats bad.

No actually, I just have a lot of time on my hands to think about this stuff, and I'm good at making props and things.

Good luck with this. Oh, and do I get any kind of credit at all for suggesting this idea to Scully in the TCM Lego thread, or had you already had this in mind?
