Well, every year the Minnesota Sci-fi Society has their Evil Dead triology at a local movie theatre. They start at 10pm. They are an absolute BLAST! The whole audience MST3Ks the movies, but with respect.
There are trivia questions in between the movies, stupid prizes, etc. It is so much fun. But unfortunetly, like clockwork I start to lose consciousness at around the middle of Army of Darkness....can't stay up like I use to.

Oh Joy and blissfullness, I once got to go see a midnite showing of ALL the Romero Dead trilogy at one viewing!
And...errmmm..ok.....I went to Rocky Horror a couple times. Gotta admit, I don't see what the big fascination with that film is.

HA solidarity brutha http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif I just don't think it's a great flick, and that whole ritual that goes along with the midnite showings of it is kinda freaky..tho I will admit when I was in high school it was kinda fun to throw toilet paper around a movie theatre and all the other stuff ,and not be escorted from the theatre http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I find that midnight viewings are the best! No one is there and there are only like 5 people working in the building. Anyway, the best midnight film i ever saw was the extended version of the exorcist that came out about 2 years ago. My friend and i saw it and although i owned the flick on SE DVD and loved it, it was my friends first viewing of it. He was scared to say the least.
