I've heard nothing - NOTHING!!! - but bad things about TCM : The Next Generation. All reports from both genre and non-genre film fans and reviewers suggest that it's a turkey of the worst kind. I'd definitely give it a miss. I'm a huge fan of the original movie but didn't like the 2nd or 3rd so i'm not gonna be a sucker again.

Funny timing...I just saw this last nite on Cinemax... I never saw part 3....so I don't get much of where some character's came from..I hope I'm talking the same movie here, Renee Zellwiger(sp?) and Mathew Mcc....oh I'm not even gonna try and spell his name are in it. I was gonna flip channels, but it has some cool strange scenes, and Matthew McConaughey (I looked it up http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ) is pretty damn intense...I didn't like this version of Leatherface tho.

I'd say it's worth checking out....wether you like it or not will prob depend on how deeply your into TCM lore....I would definately compare it more to TCM 2 than TCM...

Yes. Watch any movie if you have time. At the very least you learn that you didn't like it. Even crap movies usually have a few qualities that are nice. Ok, maybe not Retro Puppetmaster - but most....

You don't have to see part3 to know what's going on. This was a whole different set of people, well if I recall so were the people in part 3. Just both have a leatherface character. And in part 4 he's a screaming woman mask wearing sissy.
Part 4 is pretty bad though, it took like 4 years to get released and thats only because Matthew Maconaughey and Renee Zellweger - jesus what long names - got famous. It does have a few funny bits though. And theres a meathook scene, but that's really it.
I don't know I say watch it if it's not costing you anything, it's not too gross, and it's not totally boring, and if you and your friends are clever you could probably make some pretty funny remarks at the movies expense.

I say watch it.
After all, when are you ever gonna see a victim of the family try to negotiate with the killer?
Or Matt McC. with a homemade mechanical leg?

IT IS THE FUNNIEST FILM FOR A GROUP OF FRIENDS TO WATCH EVER.

My main complaint with the film was that they all spent most of the film screeching at each other. I wanted some intense chase scenes, not Leatherface (yes, he was a total sissy in this one) whimpering and screaming but not doing anything. In any case, the fact that it has two big stars in it before they were famous (and the fact they're both now ashamed of it) makes it worth a look, if just for curiosity value.

U know Bloody Bitch most of time the sequels suck hard so I would avoid it.
Well even if I have to admit that I like the F13th serie ( well forget about the 5th, I have not seen the 8th, the 9th and the 10th )
Halloween 4 is by far the best sequel I have seen for Halloween.

DON'T WATCH IT! It is horrible. You will laugh a little bit, but it's soooooo bad you won't ever have that much fun making fun of it.

I hope Andrew Tom reads this! They're not going to show Body Parts tomorrow (Saturday) in the TV, they're showing TCM: The Next Generation! Shit, I've been waiting for that movie so long and now they replace it with some shit like this! No fucking way!

And as you can see from my text, I hate TCM: The Next Generation! And Bloodybitch, I understand your pain. I've been through it too.

Sorry BloodyBitch http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif

I had forgot to mention I thought the movie as a whole was pretty stupid, but I liked some of the individual scenes.
