Did seeing The Dentist make you scared of dentists?

I was already suffering from a dentist phobia when I saw The Dentist. I must be some kind of masochist. I spent whole minutes of the movie with my legs pulled up to my chest, gritting my teeth and praying for the scene to end. I thought the movie was ok. Above average, but not classic Yuzna. It actually made my teeth ache watching it though. Brrrr. I don't think I could watch it again. Ever!!!

I was never afraid of getting dental work, I just hate going. The Dentist only intensified this hatred. I loved the movie, though! Bernsen did a fantastic job of playing a person who is teetering on the brink of psychosis. He came off as an authentic nutjob.

Its not "SUPER KICK ASS!" but its some good gory fun...8/10....

I own this one on video. Funny how a concept as simple as teeth-drilling can freak you out more than somebody getting stabbed through the back of the neck or something. The flick didn't make me scared of the dentist, though...I take care of my teeth to ensure I never have to! Whenever I suggest this movie to others, they visibly cringe!

This movie didn't bother me at all. I thought it was lame. Even like when he's pulling out teeth it didn't make me squirm at all. I can't beleive there's a sequel to this...
