View Full Version : A BOARD REMINDER!
The Arrow

Hey guys here's a board reminder for all of you.
-This board is for horror talk...THAT'S IT, THAT'S ALL!
- IF you want to come in here to chit chat about anything else but horror, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
-If you wanna come here and insult people overtly or subtly GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
- If you think The Crow City of Angels is better than the original...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. That was a joke http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
Its important to me that we all remember what this board is about: our love for horror.
I wanna try to keep this board constructive and positive. Dont get me wrong dissagreements and intelligent arguing are fine...BUT LETS JUST KEEP IT MATURE! I really want to avoid having it become a "fuck you", "or I dont like him but dont tell him" type of Kindergarden board. Work with me guys and dolls and lets keep this place a great board place for gore fiends to talk about...you guessed it...HORROR!
peace

http://www.joblo.com/ubb/redface.gif I must admit, I may be the formentioned "F.U" offender...couple days ago I misjudged a comment as a personal attack, and went off on a perfectly innocent Shmoe... expletives included.... for my part I can promise not to let it happen again.

Much agreed, this needed to be stressed yet again due to the influx of new , and I WILL go out and say it, some younger aged schmoes. But younger aged, I mean in maturity.
People, you need to keep yourselves in check with the opportunity you have all been given. If respect and maturity is something that seems lacking in your make-up, don't get mad, don't get even, just go away. Arrow has provided each of us a forum for expression, and while it is steeped in "freedom of expression" the MAIN problem with it and every other message board or form of discourse on the internet is people interpret this to mean garbage can be expressed unchecked. Well guess what? It isn't.
A great person once said, "If you have nothing good to say. Then don't say it at all." The same can be said here.

Hey guys, I just checked back and realized that my pointless post to intelligent post ratio is not good...I'd like to apologize for that and I intend to talk more about horror in the future, instead of pointless chattering.

I'm gonna be an annoying little sod and point out that this discussion isn't about horror. Heh heh heh. (Don't wprry I'm just appealing to my own sense of humour)

Please allow me to clarify. Cory and myself are both from Philadelphia. As a matter of fact we know each other and hang out on occasion. Sometimes we hang out with a guy named Steve. Steve also visits this board but he doesn't post. Since he isn't registered here I told him that I'd mention him on the board and as a joke I put him under the bitch slap topic. However it didn't occur to me that people would think that we were referencing to stevereno. It was just an in-joke from me and Cory that was misunderstood by others. I certainly meant no disrespect to stevereno. In fact I remember when he first started posting he would ask me if his info was correct. Anyways just thought I'd clear all that up. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Good topic to bring up to us Shmoes. Although we should all know the rules by now (should being the opperative word), I think it's very important to bring this up for those who haven't been able to read them (naughty shmoes).
Also, this may sound a bit ridiculous, but I thought I should point it out.
If someone is picked on by one of the shmoes,it hurts. Sure, it doesn't hurt like a friend hurting you but to those who are already having a bad day or are in a depression, picking on them will only make them feel worse.

Is my beer for horror movies post out of context? I thought it worked out. I'm new so I don't know the whole jiggy yet, but I am learning. I have yet to see the Lost boys...

Since you decided to address this on the board, I'll retort on the board. I won't lie to you and say that I fully buy your in-joke story but I'll roll with it for the board's sake. I personally don't really care "why"... what I do care about is that it doesn't happen again. Fair enough?
