I was at an inhouse training at my job the the other day and when i was supposed to be paying attention to water safety I found myself doodling the subway scene from an American werewolf in london. That got me thinking do any of you tend to start doodling scenes from your favorite horror movies?

I doodle scens from "Friday the 13th" all the time. Its so doodleable. Its also really fun to draw movie posters for your favorite horror movies. You'd be suprised at how creative you can get.

what I do is, in school, so I don't confuse each month's assignments, I do divisions per each month basing in a horror movie poster
I.E.
(Using the ANOES style)"Month 4: The bream master" (Bream for the equation, so it fits nicely) and I draw something like the cover of ANOES IV...

I draw horror scenes all the time...They are real easy to draw since they are locked in my memory...usually Freddy or Jason and sometimes Michael...

Maybe we should email Arrow and see if he could set up a section for fan art. How cool would that be all the schmoes horror art projects on display. Might take up to much space though. hmmmmmm

No offense Bowieee, but personally I think fanart makes website amateurish...just me though.

When I was in grade two my class did hand puppets with paper bags and craft stuff on them. Being a slightly disturbed horror fed youth, I did mine of freddy and when I got my chance to do my presentaion(puppet show), I had a fun time tearing up my partners snoopy puppet. "ha ha ha, you little dog your gonna die!" Seriosly I was messed up but its all good now, no more Freddy puppets for me and I regret what I did.

I have drawn the lawnmover scene so many times that I can't remember. I have a one in my room and it's drawn in a cartoonish style and looks pretty crappy. I also have drawn some scenes from Evil Dead.

Not only do I doodle stuff from horror movies, I do my own horror comics. Im working on one right now and its called "Monsters attack" about a crazy scientist making experiments on his old castle on top of a hill, and then his experiments i.e. zombies wreck havock on a quiet little town..heh just having a little fun..
Ive been doing these mini-comics forever, since highschool, I was allways preatty popular in school for making copies of my comics and selling them...ahh, memories. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I did a cover for "Silent Hill 3" which acctually looked cool....
In the top part, there was the words "SILENT HILL" spelled in some nicely styliced font.
And the main drawing was a shot of a road that took you to Silent Hill (Which you could see in the distance) and a big, thick "3" covering the center of the drawing...the catch is, INSIDE the "3" the normal road drawing changed to (the same) but the alternate Silent Hill, with the chain link and the big fans and two corpses hanging in a tree...U get it??...

I do poster art for horror flicks. Did some twisted poster for dolls with that doll that smiles near the begining sitting ontop of someone with half their skull gone with dolls in the back ground sitting on shelves. My own art gives me the creeps...

hmmm, i wonder....
a section on the site for schmoe art?
it could turn out great, could go from upcoming/classic posters with photoshop, or pencil storyboards and stuff!
But i don't know, they would think twice since the daredevil fan teaser.

Well, I don't doodle so much, but I do create model figures of various horror characters using Crayola model magic. I made An American Werewolf In London, a bunch of Killer Klowns(7 inch, but now I'm working on 4 inch ones), Dandrige bat, Evil Ed wolf, Gevaudan Beast, 2 Slimers, and Godzilla kaiju.
