Ok here we go again..this time with feeling.
Same basic rules as last time but Im gonna remind you guys just to make sure you wont forget em.

1-No more than 30 sentences per post.

2-Follow the last posts storyline.

3-If your post doesnt match the lasts posts story line GO BACk and EDIT it so that it will.

4-No mindless pointless jokes..if your gonna say a joke it must fit with the storyline.

5-Do not offend ANYONE. That means no jokes about autistic children! You know what I mean..

6-All characters must be ORIGINAl so that means no Freddy Krugers or Jasons in this story (that means you Stevereno http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif, create your own characters...

7-And last but not least do not stray to much from the story line please.

The mist in the cemetary didnt seem scary to Tanya. Maybe some other girl would have been scared to hang out in the cemetary at this hour of the night on All Hollows Eve but not Her. She loved this sort of thing. In fact when her boyfriend Jhon dared her to spend halloween night with him here in Dunwich Cemetary she actually couldnt wait for the night to come. So here she was now sitting with her back on top of a grave and looking up at the stormy sky ...then her eyes shifted to Jhon who was laying right beside her enjoying this quiet moment with Tanya.

"So what now Jhon? Here we are Dunwich Cemetary myst all over the place and a full moon up in the sky.." said Tanya as the wind blew in her hair. The clouds moved at an unaturally fast pace in the sky as the moonlight bathed theyre faces a thunder was heard in the distance...the storm was not so far away.

"Well know we wait. Steve, Mellanie, and Felicia have to still get here...so basiclly we have some time for ourselves.." and Jhon gave her THAT smile..and THAt look; the look and smile young lust give each other when the hormones start cranking up.

"Jhon...look at this place..I mean its so desolated and lonely, not to mention the fact that there are hundreads of dead people buried all around us..there arent any houses for miles...this cemetary is in the middle of nowhere, come on do you really want to get it on here?" she said with a sarcastic look on her face.

"YEesss!" screamed Jhon "this place is just as good as any" and kissed her lips. She didnt hold back. Then suddenly ,the whole cemetary seem to light up. It seemed to turn to daylight for a few seconds..then they heard a loud thunder..so loud It made theyre ears ring. When they came back to theyre senses they realized that lightning had hit the cemetary ground. Smoke was rising just a few feet from them....and some of the pebbles on the ground were red hot..

They both looked at each other surprised. Then:"Holy shiiit! That has to be the loudest fucking lightning bolt I have ever heard" and they both looked at each other surprised and with theyre faces red with amazement...

John looked at Tanya with his eyebrows raised. "Don't look at me," she said nervously. So John rose steadily to his feet and looked to his left and his right as if he were about to cross the street.

Note : that is a little more than 30 words... but come on... it needs to be like 30 sentences...

As John took a step forward, his foot disappeared into an infinite blackness. He looked down in horror as it quickly rose up his leg, engulfing his torso, leaving only his arms and head visible to the still unknowing Tanya.
But soon, not even that was left. It appeared as if John had just disappeared into the shadows. Tanya, thinking John was just joking, picked up her flashlight and shined it into the darkness.
But the light revealed nothing. It was an impenetrable darkness. At this point, Tanya didn't even realize that the gravestones were slowly being swallowed up as well. Soon, she would be engulfed by infinite nothingness.
"John!",said Tanya,"Just fucking cut it out, all right! If you plan on getting any tonight, you better get your ass back over here, now!"
But she soon realized that John would never get lucky again. Suddenly, a bloodcurdling scream rang out through the darkness...

and everything went silent.

Tanya crept back into a clearing, behind a row of bushes.

"You Mother Fucker! I know you're in there!"
Her call was answered only by a faint gurgling coming from behind her, which reverberated through the rows of gravestones. Amplified by tenfold, it seemed, by the ancient stone plaques and the crosses, boring holes into the body Of Dunwhich Cemetary.

"wherrr....fuckove you bin?"

Tanya spun around and fell into Mellenie, holding a half empty bottle of Jack Daniels.
Her drunk friend giggled at her friend's horrified face, and by struggling to keep her balanced while she laughed uncontrollably, grabbed the sleeve of Tanya's shirt for support. Mellanie fell and pulled her friend down on top of her, into the long crabgrass.

"Where's John?" Tanya, completely frustrated with her friend got up and brushed off her clothes. Mellenie had spilled Whiskey all over her shirt.

Doooo.....fowswig? Mellenie muttered something completely incoherent, and statred giggling to herself.

WHERE'S JOHNNY?! WE HAVE TO GO LOOK FOR JOHNNY!!!!!!

"Jhonny just dissapeared Mellanie!" screamed Tanya

"What do you mean he dissapeared, you mean he left?" said Felicia looking at Tanya with some fear in her face.

"At first I thought he just sorta fell into a hole in the floor but then I saw this darkness take him and I tried to shine some light with my flashlight but that didnt work it was just this darkness, like nothing Ive ever seen before....then the tombstones started to dissapear and then I knew something was seriosly wrong here I mean things dont just dissapear...and where the fuck is Jhonny?!!"

"Calm down Tanya well find him, he couldnt just dissapear like that...we have Steve and Mellanie theyll help us look for him too calm down" said Felicia.

"Yeah Ill help you babe come on, everything well be cool, Jhonnies probably just taking a dump on some dead dudes grave behind some Bush over there.."

"No you dont understand something is seriously wrong here..." gasped Tanya as tears fell from her eyes. "Jhonnies gone, where is he?"

Suddenly all the wind started to blow faster...and faster until a gust of wind was hitting the cemetary and everyone in it.
Felicia felt all the hairs stand on end, there was electricity in the air. Felicia and Steve looked at each other as if to say "what the fuck?" Then everything turned to daylight once again, and a huge bolt of lighting hit the center of the cemetary once again...

When theyre eyes adjusted to the night. Tanya, Felicia, Steve and a drunken Mellanie couldnt belive theyre eyes...

It was a dark hooded figure, floating about ten feet up in the air..in dark gray shroud and not showing its face, it floated up in the air while the gusts of wind hit his raggedy shroud and made him look enigmatic and frigtning at the same time.

"what the hell is that?" Thought Tanya as her knees started to shake and she grabbed on to Felicia for support.

Then out of thin air came a deep voice and said: "If you are interested at all in seeing your dear Jhon once again you will listen to what I have to say..My name is Gholum and I am eternal..."

Everyone stood holding their breath. Gholum stood there, but his feet didn't touch the ground.

"John fell to the other side. He won't survive there long. He will need help getting out of there", explained Gholum.

Steve's getting a little light-headed and starts to laugh at the situation. Soon Mellanie and Felicia join him. Tanya remains straight-faced.

"How do you know all this?", she asked.

"Well, I'm supposed to guard the drifts of this land. I was too late this time. I've made a mistake, and I'm here to offer my help to get your John back.", answered Gholum.

(That's the best I could come up with in 5 minutes, I'm in a bit of a hurry)

"It's simple," the tthing said. "Find all the gravestones and put them in order of the persons death from youngest to oldest." "So this is like an assignment or a wild goose chase?" Steve said. Tanya asked about the gravestones that disappeared,but the thing said that they were hidden. He said they would do it in 2 hours(there were hundreds of gravestones)or them,and John,would die.

"And You" Gholum said while pointing at Mellanie "need to be in complete control of your senses" and then with a snap of his fingers something happened..

"hey!" Screamed Mellanie. "where the hell is my Whisky?" She realized that the creature floating up in the air made her whisky bottle dissapear and she was no longer drunk.

"What the hells going on here?" said a now sober Mellanie.

"Ill explain later...mellanie" said Steve in a whisper.

"Look we dont know who you are and if your telling the truth or not how do we know you are not telling a lie? Let us see Jhon!" screamed Tanya.

"Weather you believe me or not does not matter..what matters is that Jhon fell into another dimension a particularly painfull one to be in...and if you dont do as I say he will die..."

"Why are you doing this?" Steve demanded.

"I am a guardian of the portals between dimensions, if you can try and grasp that idea. I am eternal. I never had a beginning and Ill never have an end, Ive grown bored with eternity. I do these type of things to amaze myself... so you know what forget about the Grave stones, thats a little too easy. Ive thought of something a little more challenging for you humans. You shall all face your deepest darkest fears...what ever you fear the most, that is what you will face. If you succeed in conquering your biggest fears...then and only then will you see Jhon again, if you fail he will stay in that hideous dimension he is in forever, and YOU will join him."

"OK!" "well do it, but let us at least somehow know that Jhon is Ok"

Then everything went silent. Not even the crickets could be heard in the middle of the night. An ominous feeling fell over all of them.

A faint voice was heard..."Help me...!Where am I? Heeeelp! Tanya!"

And then as instantaniously as he appeare he dissapeared. Gholum was no longer there.

"So what now? Do we just wait for our fears to show up?" asked Tanya.

"I vote we get the fuck out of dodge!" said Steve very assertively, and started his march towards the cemetary gates, he felt his face hit something. Something stoped him right on his tracks. He couldnt move past the cemetary gates. It was some sort of invisible field that held him back. He banged his fists against it a few times, but with no results. It was obvious there was no way they were gonna leave this place, at least not right now.

"Fuck! Theres no way outta here! Were trapped" said Steve screaming while walking around and waving his hands nervously.

"Steve weve also got to think about Jhon we cant just leave him, remember?!" said Tanya while putting her hands on Jhons shoulder to calm him down.

"Weve got to play Gholums little game if we want to get the hell out of here and see jhon again." said Felicia to Steve, Melannie and Tanya , but she was sure that it was not gonna be something easy. They had to face theyre worst fears!

"This is insane! I dont know why I agreed to come here in the first place! I hate fucking graveyards! I hate cemetaries and dead people! I should never have come! Why did I listen to you Tanya?!" scremed Mellanie while she sat on a tombstone to cry...just then she felt something grab her foot and she ignored it. Yet there it was again. She felt a cold something grabbing her by the foot. When Melannie looked down...she saw a hand coming out from underneath the ground..
and this hand wasnt alone it was followed by a rotting arm and a torso and a head!

Melannie was frozen in fear. She could not move. The undead creature kept making his way out from the underground. He was a rotting corpse, yet he moved. Hes skin was green and black, obviously he had been dead for a long time and he still had the clothes with wich he had been buried.

He grabbed Melannie by her clothes and pulled his decaying teeth closer to her...she could smell death in his breath. He had no eyes in his sockets all she could see was darkness where his eyes should be...

He was not alone more corpses started to rise out of theyre graves before they knew it, Tanya, Felicia, Steve and Melannie were sorounded by an Army of Dead people...

As Tanya, Felicia, and Steve ran for their lives, Melanie was still struggling with the hungry corpse. The thing was clawing at her throat with its mangled hands, more skeletal than flesh, and oozing with maggots.
Melanie kicked the corpse in the chest, her foot puncturing the ribcage, and exiting through the back. The zombie was now impaled on her right leg. Stinking black bile oozed out of the hole, as well as the rotted remains of the corpse's intestines.
With a disgusted grunt, Melanie pulled her foot out of the hollow of the zombie's chest, spewing all assortments of viscuous fluids. The creature was still clawing at her legs. Finally, Melanie lifted up her foot, and brought it crashing down on the zombie's head. The skull cracked like an eggshell, and a stream of rotten brain matter was sent flying straight into poor Melanie's face.
"Eeeww!", cried Melanie. "You ruined my make-up you undead bitch!" Melanie began to kick the remains of the corpse viciously, then dropped to the ground and began to tear at the rotted flesh. At this point, she had completely lost it, and was totally giving in to her fears. She didn't even notice the enormous crowd of flesh-hungry zombies crowding around her...

"Melanie!!!" Steve screamed "Watch out, behind you!!". Melanie stopped hitting the dead again zombie and looked around her. The zombies were getting closer, she could smell the different odors getting stronger. "Oh shit!" she screamed. "Nooo!!!" Steve yelled as he ran towards the group of zombies to help Melanie.

The zombies grabbed at Meleanie as she fought for her life, kicking one zombie in the nads and stopping it entirely. The others kept on coming. "Take this you rotting piece of shit!" Steve yelled as he drop kicked right through a zombie's back and landed in front of Melanie. "Get up Steve they're coming!!" Melanie treid to pull Steve up but his foot was now stuck inbetween a decaying zombies rib cage. The dead were right at them, moving slowly as their bodies would allow them. Horrified Melanie and Steve held on to each other. "We can't fight them all, were done..." Melanie said as she held Steve tighter. "Hold on to me this is going to be painful", Steve closed his eyes one last time and took a deep breath. The zombies were a inches away dripping fluids onto the grass, ready to feast on warm flesh. "I'm so scared!" cried Melanie.

They both sat there. Ten seconds went by and nothing happened. "Huh" Steve looked up. "Melanie open your eyes". Melanie looked around "What...".

The zombies were gone.

The cemetery was gone.

Tanya and Felicia were gone. Where were they? "My biggest fear was dying" Melanie whispered to Steve who looked around to what words could not describe...

For a second, Steve thought they had died. Melanie looked around and was so shocked that the scream she tried to make, died before it got even in her throat. Felicia and Tanya were nowhere to be seen.

Steve was the first to talk. "Is this what I think it is?"

"No way, it can't be!", yelled Melanie, still in shock, "It just can't be!"

But it certainly seemed that way. Steve thought that this was it. This was hell.

"So if your biggest fear was dieying we must have died then. And we are either in heaven or hell according to common religious belives. Maybe limbo. Maybe Gholums just fucking with us. Or maybe now we will know what really happens when people die. Where ever we are I know one thing you have to conquer your fear of death or we are fucked."
said Steve to Mellanie.

Meanwhile back at the cemtary the zombies where getting anxious to eat the warm human flesh that was at the top of the tomb. Somehow Tanya and Felicia managed to climb the top of a Tomb. They were safe there for now.

"Felicia did you just see Steve and Mellanie dissapear?"

"I think thats what happened."

"So were alone for the time being and we cant stay up here forever...how do you feel about getting rid of these zombie fucks?"

"Im all for that but how the hell are we gonna do just that?" then Felicia remembered something. "Wait a minute" and Felicia reached into her backpack that somehow she forgot she had and said "Mellanie had given me another bottle of whisky, we can turn it into a molotov bomb, throw it at them and make a run for the Mausoleum thats up ahead on the cemetary grounds! There at least well be safer then here."

"Sounds like a plan!" said Tanya smiling at Felicia.

Tanya took out the bottle and made it into a bomb. Now they just have to find the perfect place to throw it to. Naturally this would be the place with the most zombies.

Felicia lit the bomb and threw it just as the both of them jumped down. There was a big explosion, setting most of the zombies on fire. That's when Tanya noticed something. Something she should've thought about before. Sure, a few zombies were blown to bits, but the others just kept on coming.

Felicia started to run towards the mausoleum and Tanya wasn't far behind. The zombies closed on them. The whole graveyard was lit by the zombies that were on fire.

Tanya ran fast and soon she passed Felicia and beat her to the mausoleum door. Suddenly she hear a scream and saw that Felicia was captured by the zombies. But they weren't zombies anymore. They had transformed. Transformed into something a lot more grotesque. Felicia screamed.

Tanya saw that the zombies flesh started to twicht and turn, started to mutate into something. The zombies started to sprout what looked to Tanya like antennas...and they started to grow long skinny arms from theyre sides..she was also surprised to see that now they had big transparent wings..they no longer resembled zombies. They looked more now like...no! It couldnt be! They looked more like..like giant roaches! Not just normal roaches either..this roaches had huge fangs that dripped whitle viscous liquid..

"Tanya! This is my fear!!"
"Im afraid of roaches! Help me!" screamed Felicia as she was pulled back by the giant insects...

A huge roach, with assorted zombie parts dripping off of it, grabbed Felicia and started to pull her towards it. "Ahhh!!!" Felicia screamed in horror, paralyzed with fear.

Tanya made it to the front of the Mausoleum and looked back, Felicia was alone and about to get devoured by zombie insects!
The thought alone madee Tanya quiver with fear.
"I can't let her die..." Tanya breathed to herself.
And with split second impulse, Tanya ran back to the bugs like an animal running from a forest fire. She grabbed Felicia's hands and tried to pull her away but the roach was too strong, and the other Insects were closing in, tearing at her feet. With great courage and faith Tanya let go of Felicia and ran back a few steps.

"You better run if I'm going to do this..."
Tanya ran forward and jumped over Felicia into the group of Roaches! The Insects swarmed her and one knocked Felicia 10 feet towards the mausoleum as it turned around quickly. Felicia now awake gets up and stumbles to the doors of the mausoleum, avoiding attacking roaches and quickly glances back.
SHe see's Tanya is getting carried deep into the cemetery by the giant roaches. Screams are heard fading away into the distance...

(Muchos gracias, spacemonkey. This is turning out to be what the original story should have been.)

While Felicia hid in the mausoleum, Tanya was being dragged into the roach's nesting area. Soon they would feed her to their queen.
In the center of the cemetery, an enormous mass of cockroaches was writhing, feasting on the remains of the zombies. As Tanya was dragged closer, the mass opened up, revealing a gigantic, hideous white blob, obviously the queen of this roach colony. In it's jaws it held the skeletal head of one of the zombies. It squeezed down, splitting the head in two, one of it's eyes becoming a projectile, and splattering right in Tanya's...um...eye.
After draining the skull of fluids, the queen dropped it, and focused her attention on Tanya. The thing's fangs were just inches from her neck, when suddenly, all of the roaches were devoured by an impenetrable darkness, much like the one that had devoured John.
That's when Tanya realized that Gholum had been lying. Her friends didn't have to face their fears. They were just innocent pawns in his little game. It was all up to her. You see, Tanya had never fully recovered from her childhood fear of the dark. But she would have to soon, as it was quickly advancing on her, swallowing up everything in it's path...

This is it, my fear has to be conquered in order for us to survive...I must act. And not fear; Felicia thought to herself.

She thought about her dear friend Felicia and about how much she cared for her. She could not leave her. So she ran towards the gates of the cemetary gates and grabbed hold of a rusty old steal bar that was loose, in fact she thought might as well grab two, so she did. She looked at both steal bars and knew she had to run fast if she was going to save Tanya.

Back she went to the huge aglomeration of zombie roaches.
Slash! One down a few hundread more to go...

Slash! Boy these roaches were easy to kill..white roach blood fell all over her as she kept beheading roaches on after another. She was almost reaching Tanya, she could see her a few feet away from her, Tanya was also fighting the zombie roaches although she seemed to be confused and scared. Felicia did not know that Tanya was facing her own fear of the dark in her mind.

Felicia screamed "Tanya catch!" and threw one of the steal bars towards Tonya. The bar flew thru the air and it hit the floor impaling two of the zombie roaches. Tanya tried to concentrate and saw the steal bar in the floor and grabed it and started to kill roaches left and right...Both Tanya and Felicia were now getting closer..closer..until they were now back to back fighting the roaches drenched in white viscous fluid coming from the dead roaches...

"I dont think Ill ever be scared of roaches ever again Tanya" said felicia trying to avoid letting roach blood fall into her mouth..soon all the roaches were dead all that was left was a huge mess of roach and zombie remains..skulls and roach body parts were on the floor left and right.

"Felicia, I think Im going crazy Im seeing that darkness that took jhon all over the place..Im seeing a terrible darkness taking over everything...I think Im going mad!I feel like this darkness will make my head explode!" And Tanya put her hands on her head trying to control her madness..

Linus, just to make things clear here cause I got a little confused too:
-Tanya is afraid of Darkness
-Felicia afraid of Roaches
-Mellanie is afraid of dieying
-Steves fear has not been explained

Steve and Melanie were still confused as to what was going on. "Something's wrong here," Steve said. "What is it?", Melanie said. "I never had a fear of dying,so why am I with you?" Suddenly Steve disappeared. Steve was on top of a tree in the cemetary. Steve was going to climb down when he noticed something. This was higher than usual. Way higher. He was hundreds of feet in the air,since he figured out that his fear was heights. He clinged on the tree,shutting his eyes tight. While doing this,he imagined those zombies devouering Tanya and Felicia,and John and Melanie gone forever. He knew he had to conquer his fear. He jumped.

Falling down Steve hesitated. He tried to push his fear away, but it wouldn't let go of him. He fell. He knew he was going to die. The ground came closer and closer with a tremendous speed. "I've failed them. I'm sorry, Tanya.", said Steve just before hitting the ground.

After a while, when Death didn't come calling, Steve got up. "What the hell?", he wondered. "Why didn't I die?"

Suddenly Gholum was behind him. "You don't remember? I'm the supreme being of this graveyard. I choose who dies and lives in this place.", told Gholum. "You have a job to do. You have to save your friends. They're being attacked by the other side. If they're killed, there's nothing I can do about them. Now hurry!"

So Steve took action. He looked around for something. "What can I do?" Steve said to himself. He noticed a dead Roach nearby.
"What the fuck happened here?" Steve said as he examined the dead bug. "AHHHHHH!!!" Steve jumped, he looked in the distance and saw Felicia fighting a larged, white roach... with Tanya captive on a large Tomstone angel.
Steve grabbed the dead Roach's arm/claw and tore it off. He proceeded to cut down the giant tree he fell from. The tree was already dead so it was easy to cut through. After a minute of hacking a large CRACK was heard and the tree started to fall. Steve pushed it forward so it would fall towards the giant white roach.
"Timber mother fucker!" Steve yelled as the giant tree came down on the giant roach.
BAM!! The tree came down on the bug and splattered white goo everywhere.
"It worked!" Steve ran over to the mess. He could see Felicia crying. He ran over to her and put his hand down on her shoulder.
"Ahh!" Felicia screamed "Steve, I thought you were dead!" she hugged Steve. "What happened?" Felicia could barley controll her tears.
"Thats not important right now, why are you crying I just killer that giant... monster"
Steve pointed at the giant mess and looked over noticing something he had not noticed yet...Tanya was dead.
"Ohh no.. Tanya .... I killed her..."
"No, I trew a giant pole at the queen bug and when the giant tree came down on it, the pole went through Tanya..." Felicia was wrecked over her freinds accidental death.
(flashback ensues of Tanya getting "poled" and telling Felicia) "Don't let that fuck Gholum mess with your head, he... uhh.. don't... let ..him.. uhgh....."
Felicia watched as her freind was about to utter her last words...

Felicia could not controll her tears, this was Tanya who had died, her best friend for five long years and now she was dead.

"This is insane! Felicia is dead because of us! And that fuck Gholum! You bastard! Show yourself! Its easy enough to hide! I got a few words to say to you, you fucking insane whatever the hell you are!" screamed Felicia

They hadnt noticed but Gholum was now floating about five feet up in the air right in front of Steve and Felicia.

"You requested my presence and here I am. You have something you wish to say?" said Gholum while pointing at Felicia.

"Yeah I got something to say to you. This isnt right. What you are doing to us is not correct and its not fair! And now my dear friend Alicia is dead because of your stupid little "game" and Mellanie dissapeared , where is she? I almost got killed fighting these damned creatures and for what? Whats the point of all this? Tanya warned me before she died not to let you fuck with our minds, what did she mean by that?"

"Aaaah so many questions..This amuses me. You amuse me, But that is not all I assure you I have a pourpose...and your friend Mellanie still hasnt conquered her fear when she does and if she does youll see her again" said Gholum and started to chuckle..

"Well if you have a pourpose you better make it fucking clear right about now, because this is going to far, you cant just do this to us!"

"I can and I WILL. You will know my pourpose soon enough.." Gholum said and with a flash of light dissapeared.

"No wait!AAAAH!" screamed Felicia infuriated.
"There he goes again just dissapearing like that! It really pisses me off!" Steve said

"Wait a minute, wait a minute, lets think this over first...according to what Gholum said we have to face our fears right?"

"yeah" said Felicia.

"And most of us have conquered our fears so far...you conquered your fear for roaches right?"

"yeah Ill never be scared of em again after what I went through.." she said while signaling all the dead bugs on the cemetary grounds.

"And I conquered my fear of hights when I jumped of that giant tree gholum put me on...even though I was scared while I fell I still conquered my fear..."said Steve analyzing the whole situation.

"And weather Tanya conquered hers or not doesnt matter anymore cause...shes dead." said Steve while giving Felicia a sad look and putting his hand on her shoulder.

"The only one who hasnt conquered her fears is Mellanie because she hasnt returned at least thats what Gholum said, he said that IF she conquered her fears we would see her again right?."

"Yeah but, where is she?" asked Felicia

"Somewhere in the afterlife, she was afraid of dieying. I guess we need to wait for her to return and then this hopefully this fucked up night will end..."

Meanwhile in the afterlife place,Melanie walked around when she noticed something on the ground. It was a black rectangle,but it showed the graveyard,Steve,and Felicia(or Tanya,I don't know). "How can this happen?! If I have a fear of dying,then why am I not dead? GHOLUM,GET OVER HERE!" Suddenly Gholum popped up. "What do you want," he said. "Tanya asked, "If I have a fear of dying,why am I not dead?" "Melanie,that's not your true fear. Everyone has a fear of dying. You'll figure out your true fear." Suddenly Melanie figured it out. Her fear was lonliness. Although she was in shock from finding out her fear,she wondered why Steve was with her.

Not only was she with steve, she also saw Felicia. She was now back in the cemetary.

"Melannie! Your finally back! I thought you had not been able to conquer your fear! But here you are!" and Steve hugged her as he finished saying this. And so did Felicia.

Then Melannie noticed that Tanya was not present. "wheres Tanya?" she said.

"Melannie, Tanyas...not" and Felicia lowered her head and started to cry..

"She didnt make it." said Steve.

Steve recovered himself from his sadness and said "We need to find a way to get the hell out of here, and I think the way to do that is conquering our fears, Mellanie did you conquer yours?"

"Gholum said I hadnt. And he said I would soon find out what my real fear was...Im not sure what it is Im most afraid of...I thought it was my fear of death but Ghoulum said that wansnt it...so what is it?"

"Mellanie think...right now, what do you fear the most?" asked Felicia.

"Tell you the truth, right now, nothing scares me the most than this Gholum guy, he can do what ever the hell he wants with us, and thats horrofying to me..."

And as she finished saying this a bolt of lightning hit the cemetary grounds once more...

"oh shit..." said Steve

"YOu know what this means dont you mellanie?"

"what?"

"You gotta face and conquer Gholum." said Steve as he grabbed the steal pole that Tanya had left on the floor...

Melanie knew now what she had to do. She did a quick streching exercise and ran for the darkness.
"Gholum!!!" she yelled with a blood curdling scream. The cemetery was littered with dead zombies ozzing puss, and roaches impaled on poles. The air was stale and the moon illuminted her path to her final battle.

An overtured tombstone gave Melanie the edge she needed to get to where she was going. With incredible strength, almost strength she never knew she had, the giant stone came up and down in a continuos motion to break open the earth.

Gholum said anything that he wish's to happen, goes.

"Shit!" The ground exploded as Melanie dived to the ground. The darkness started open. Swallowing the ground around it, slowly. She got up to face the expanding hole, to face her declining fears. Gripped with determination, she de-impaled a nearby roach and readied, it was time to face Gholum.

Steve, Felicia, Tanya and John, all in different dimensions, watched as a vision appeared before them, a vision of Melanie lunging into the hole which now consumed the dead center of the rotting land of death and despair...

Melanie landed in a clearing in the middle of the cemetery. She stood up, dusted herself off, and stared straight ahead. At the far side of the clearing stood Gholum, or at least what appeared to be Gholum. It had the rotted head and arms of a zombie, the legs of a cockroach, and it was wearing a long, flowing cloak made up entirely of the darkness.
In the middle of the clearing lay two obscenely large axes, one for each of them. Reluctantly, Melanie ran towards the middle. "You've got to face this fucker; it's the only way!", she thought to herself.
It would be an axe-battle to the death...

Gholum took off at the same time. His legs skittered across the ground at a pace Melanie could not keep up with. Within seconds, he had reached the center, snatching up his axe, and launching toward Melanie, screeching an ungodly, blood-curdling battlecry.
Melanie ducked just in time to avoid decapitation, then got up and lunged for her axe. She picked it up, and gasped in surprise at how light the axe was. But she had little time to ponder this, as Gholum had raised his axe over his head, and was preparing for the kill.
Melanie blocked this with the handle of her axe, and kicked Gholum in the chest. He went flying back a few feet, landing on his back. When he got up, Melanie brought the axe down on his head.
Once again, she was surprised at the swift ease with which she cleaved Gholum's body in half, from head to crotch. A light spray of blood erupted from his chest, and then both halves of his body fell to the ground.
Melanie turned around and screamed in triumph. But she had no reason to feel triumphant. For behind her, the two halves of Gholum's body stood up, and joined hands.
The right side flipped itself over, and brought the left side's foot down on Melanie's head...

"This isnt fair!" yelled Mellanie as Gholums foot was on her face.

"Nothing in life is. Youve yet to learn this." and he kept on squishing her face.

"I will give you an oppurtunity to battle me in my own grounds...I will give you the same powers that I have if you succeed in destroying me, I will die..though Ive never died I can die if I wish it. And if you kill me I will wish my non existance. If you beat me you and All your friends well be set free and this will be but a good story to tell your offspring.."

And he waved his hand towards mellanie and she felt a giant bolt of electricity go into her...she was raised in the air as light came in and out of her body...making her stronger with every jolt of energy that went in her. Slowly she was brought back to the ground. She felt better than she ever had before.

"use your power...you are know eternal" cackeld Gholum. "But you can only use it to physiclly fight me, that will be the limit of your powers.."

"I think you just made a mistake you eternal fuck" laughed Mellanie.

[Linus*likes*noise]

Melanie jumped in the air, she could jump alot higher now! "Whoa" she said as she didn't go down. "I have to learn how to control myself. As she said that Gholum threw an axe at her. She grabbed it in mid-air and swung around with enourmas force to throw it back. Gholum easily dodged this.
"Come on down, lets play..."
Gholum Threw a barage of axes at melanie. She quickly learned how to go down after this. "It's the fear..." Melanie said to herself. She got up and thought of Tanya dieing.

(flashback of Tanya dieing)

As her heart beat hard and her mind became clear she materialized an axe of her own from her hand, and threw it at Gholum. It easily dodged it once again.
"Got more..."
As it said this the axe came back(boomarang style) and cut him in half.
"Ahhh!!!!" It screamed as his torso's collapsed on the ground. Blood spewed from his body and Gholum maoned in pain, the first time it ever felt pain. Melanie became curious and walked over to it's cut in hand corpse.

"noo..."

Melanie looked around, nobody there. "Am I hearing things?" She thought to herself. She continued towards Gholum, it moaned quietly with parayzing pain.

"don't do it..."


Melanie swung around to see who spoke the words she thought she heard. Nobody again.
Gholum lay ready to die, finally as Melanie motioned the axe to her hand. "y-your fin-ally learn-ing..." Gholum said.
"Shut the fuck up!" Melanie screamed at it. "You killed John and Tanya! Now your going to die!"
"you have un-understood your p-p-pow-ersss..its the fe-fearrr..." Gholums blood drained to Melanies feet as she raised the axe above her head.

"nooo..."

Melanie ignored the voice this time as she readied to bring the axe down.
"i like you... y-you will do good for me..heh heh ha ha haaaaa!"
"Stop it" Melanie fumed
"ahh ha ha heh heh hee!"
"Shut up!" she screamed as Gholum laughed full force at her.
"AHHH! HA HA HA HA! Hehe he HA ha Haaaah!
"NOOOOO!"
"nooo..!"
"AH HA HA HA H-"
BAM!

Gholums head was buried with the axe, a light is seen flowing out his eyes. Gholums spirit was finally ready to rest.
"Fucker.." Melanie stared at his dead body and grew an insationable thrist for blood all of a sudden, she craved death.
"What the.." The blood now came up her leg, like crawling ants.
"Ahh! she screamed but the blood kept coming. She jumped around, flinging herself from wall to wall but it was no help, the blood covered her now. She stopped screaming and fell to the floor. She lay twitching and her body started to split open. Her body parts were thrown by an unknown force until there was no more. The blood flowed away and Melanie was no more. Only Death.


She got up. But she no longer resembled the previous Melanie, but the previous Gholum. She examined her new body, a dark rope, scared hands, She was dead. She was Death!

"i told you not too, you let gholum win..."

Melanie could now envision who was speaking, It was John, trying to warn her that Gholum was death, and he just wanted someone to take his place. Playing games until the one with the most power could take his power. He could do anything he wanted, and he wanted to die.

Melanie just stared at gholums lifeless body. Unable to do anything she just stared and stared, until the time would come for Satan to breif her for her new job description...

Up at the graveyard,Felicia and Steve were waiting to see what would happened. But the hole closed up and the sun rose. Felicia started to cry because her other friend was gone now. Felicia and Steve did the only thing they could do,get out of there. So,Steve and Felicia,holding in her sorrow from the deaths,walked out of the cemetary,never wanting to remember what happened.

I liked many things about this story mainly the cool twist and turns that you guys threw in! I mean come on, zombie roaches? That was soo cool. And who would have ever thought that ghoulum a mist all his lies was really hiding his true identity, he was death its self. And he chose Mellanie right from the beginning if you think about it..he heh..he sort of knew she had something special about her..The zombie parts were particularly gruesome and lets not forget the cool axe fight..liked that part too. I know that like linus said the story got sort of slow at times...but I was just sort of trying to give an explenation for what was happening not just let a bunch of things happen for no reason..even his "pourpose" was shown that was a good twist he was just looking for some one to take his place, he was really tired of eternity... This story was awesome! Thanks to all involved! Colonel Colin Cane, Romero and Juliet, Linus*likes*Noise, someguy, Andrew Tom, you all did a bang up job. It was fun, and you can be sure well do this again soon in Augmented Fears III or someother type of story...

I thought all the other shmoes did a great job as well, I never would have thought of zombie's turning into roaches! Killer!
