What extra footage? Who mean the scenes shot for its television release during the making of HALLOWEEN II? Loomis board meeting on May 1, 1964, Loomis going to Michael's room and watching him sit there, Loomis going to Michael's room after his escape, Linda coming over to Laurie's to borrow the blouse?
Are those the scenes you're talking about? They're released on an Extended Edition DVD.

Really? Well is my face red! Thanks for telling me! Either way I thought that those extra scenes were cool!

Aye, those scenes are excellent, they really add to the film and help link it with Halloween 2.

I saw those scenes during the NBC network broadcast of HALLOWEEN in October of 1981. They really didn't add any dramatic effect/impact to the film's story. Carpenter's theatrical/video version was leaner and meaner.

Who was the kid that played Michael staring out the window? Is he credited in the Ex version DVD?

Isn't he the same kid at the start who holds the knife? I thought if he's credited in the original movie, then he shouldn't need to be credited for the extra scenes because he still plays young Michael Myers.
