This sounds really stupid but I need to know. How do I make my font bold and italic? I know that I'm REALLY stupid.

To do bold text, put b in between square brackets like so [].
Then after your old bit, put /b in between them. It's all in the UBB Code page here http://www.joblo.com/ubb/ubbcode.html .
