Anchor Bay has officially announced details for the much anticipated DVD release for Near Dark. Set for release on September 24, Near Dark will be presented in a 2 DVD special edition and feature both DTS and Dolby Digital Audio, 16x9 Widescreen, Director's Commentary, and new 47 minute making of documentary, deleted scenes with Director's Commentary, storyboards, and much more...

i wouldn't mind buying this film.will it be out on VHS? cuz i dont "do" DVD

Steveanater evolve...just let it go and evolve...... I was like you holding on to my vhs tapes for dear life scared to enter the world of dvd. Finally I broke down and bought a dvd player when labrynth was released on dvd. Let me tell you Dvd is worth it. Sure its a wee bit more money but you get shiny menus that are fun to watch and neat extra features to browse through.

Let good ol tape eater cool its engines while you peruse a nice, shiny DVD of NEAR DARK (with deleted scenes I might add, as well as cast interviews).

NEVER!!!!!!!! if i grew up in the 80's i would listen to records
i will never give in to DVD'S!
but.......there is one thing that is good about DVD'S.........VHS are now cheaper
