is it me or have other people notice the countless amount of errors in the film(like editing, story line ect.)

for example the wallace's house front door was to the far right of the house but as soon as someone would walk in there was a living room to the right.i know it was a different interior but there are other things like mountains in illinois americas flatland and annies panties change in different scenes

has anyone else found these mistakes or any others

HALLOWEEEN is a good movie anyway

The one I always notice the most is when Laurie spots Michael behind the bush and Annie runs up to inspect it, on the close up of Annie you see Carpenter's cigar smoke floating over her head...I mean, couldn't he wait till they were done rolling before he lit up...anyway, I smile evertime I see that part.

Or when Michael stabs the guy in the stomach and the knife goest through him and into the door behind him and the dude stays perfectly straight? Always annoyed me because I knew he should have slumped over but he didn't. Don't try to blame it on rigor mortis either!

I am probably gonna get flamed for this, but I think the sequels were the worst mistakes they made.

I agree completly. The fist one was great, the second one was pretty good. The rest sucked IMO.

I already mentioned in another thread that the number of gunshots at the end of the original isn't the same as in the same scene in Part II.

And doesn't the outside of the front door of the Doyle house open in a different direction inside?

I know this isent a mistake, but it really pisses me off when they have refrence in such movies as scream that the giggly chick gives us a tit shot, but she dosent unless they are counting when she gets strangled or just after the sex.You dont see anything when she first lowers her sheet.Or maby it is just the version I own.

Peace

In the credits, Michael Myers is said to be age 23 when the movie clearly states he was 21.

What about how after Laurie stabs Michael with the knitting needle, she picks up the knife and drops in on the floor. When Michael goes after her upstairs he has the knife and it is thrown aside later on. Then, during the closing montage at the end. When we see the living room, you can see the handle of the knife lying on the floor still.

if you look closely at the window(when laurie relises michael is in the house) you can see a large fan blowing the curtis

Except for the break-out scene at the asylum at the beginning of the movie, Michael is always shown wearing a mask - but the scene at the hardware store in wich Sheriff Brackett tells the girls that "some kid" probably broke in (stealing a Halloween mask, knives, and rope) doesn't occur until halfway through the film. Also - when Tommy Doyle is tripped and falls on his pumpkin after school, you can see that it is already split open before he falls on it. For more gaffs, go to halloweenmovies.com - they have every one imaginable there.

The one that always pisses me off is Michael's death scene. If you watch closely during the part where Loomis shoots him...

Michael backpeddles out of the bedroom and STEPS off of the balcony railing. Not TRIPS over mind you, but STEPS off of it, as if he were walking on a three-foot high plank. They didn't even clean this scene up for the flashback sequence in H2.

I don't know if that one is listed on any of those links, but its the one that infuriates me the most. Mostly because its so damned noticeable.

I can think of some real noticeable errors, but I know these because I've watched each film probably several times. In Halloween 4 there is absolutely no power in Haddonfield, why would there be any in Sherrif's house? In Halloween: the Curse of Michael Myers when the girl is talking on the phone is speaking to Kara that wouldn't be possible, because the Strode house had no power. When Michael is in the sanitarium chasing Kara, Tommy, and the 2 kids its quite noticeable he walks in different paces, speeding up at certain scenes, it kind of cracks me up because George Wilbur's (the Shape) acting was so pitiful in those sequences. In H20 a very noticeable error is how Michael has several different masks throughout the movie. And correct me if I'm wrong but a skate through the head? How can that be when a skate's blade isn't very sharp? Wouldn't have Michael just broke his skull in half, the skate wouldn't just be lodged in perfectly like that. I know this personally from playing a little hockey.

Adidas, A. Michael Lerner plays the Shape during the Smith's Grove finale in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.

actually he only played MICHAEL walking down the hall, with the red light and a few more walking shots of Michael in hallways.
George P Wilbur played him in the operating room finale, in the last few min of the film.

HALLOWEEN 4

rachel falls off the roof and gains a limp but when she is helping jamie into the hill billies car the limp is gone

the power is out in haddonfield but lights can be seen on the school above the front enterence

rachel breaks the window in the attic and throws the suitcase out the window and on the ground below. when rachel looks over the edge of the roof the suit case is gone

when rachel and jamie are running up the attic stairs they throw a few suitcases and boxs down to stop michael. they then run off and michael is seen coming up the stairs. he then tosses a chair off to the side but the girls didn't throw one down and it wasn't there before.

when micheal is coming up the attic stairs he throws a cardboard box aside, but it makes a big crashing sound.

michael myers inpales the michanic in the chest with a metal rod. then michael wears the michanics suit but there is no hole or blood on it.

when rachel calls bradys house a light reflection can be seen int he window.
