what happend in the end of Halloween : the curse of michael myers

I just finished Halloween:The curse of Michael Myers.
Would someone out there please explain the end of this movie?
I don´t understand the last scream, is it Dr.Loomis? is it myers?
whats the point of showing the mask on the floor?
And what did Dr.Loomis mean when he said : "I´ll have to take care on some unfinished business" ?

i think it was dr. loomis screaming. it wouldn't be mikey ---> he wouldn't scream..

But is Dr.loomis really that dumb? I mean does he really think that he can take care of michael all by himself?

well, loomis was michael's doctor since mike was 6, right? dr. loomis must have assumed that he could stop michael.
i don't know about the mask, either. maybe michael just got uncomfortable because of his bleeding eyes and took it off. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

The last scene is Loomis getting killed by Myers. It wasn't really supposed to go down like that, but Donald Pleasance died before the film could be finished.

If I recall correctly, the orginal script treatment was supposed to go down like this.

Loomis encounters Wynn in the corridor. The two get into a scuffle and Loomis shoots Wynn. As Wynn lays dying he says, "You are now his guardian." Wynn dies and the little Thorn scar on his wrist dissapears. The scar appears on Loomis' wrist and he now knows that the burden has passed to him and he is Michael's official protector for the Cult of Thorn.

Razorblade has it right pretty much. The scream you hear in the regular version is the scream that Loomis gives when he gets the thorn symbol on him...they just moved things around between the two versions.

Well, I dont think thats exactly what happened. Pleasence died after filming. But, Donalds involvement in future HALLOWEENS would have been nesesary if they went with the Producers Cut.
