This news really doesn't bother me. I personally thought TOMB RAIDER was a horrible and boring piece of shit. Who cares about a sequel? Well, I kind of do, because I love sequels, even to bad movies. I think a sequel to TOMB RAIDER might be good if they take everything they did with the first one and do the exact opposite with the sequel, then we could have a good flick. Anyway, just look at the hottie that might replace Jolie, she's actually not a bad choice, I know I'm not complaining http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif.

Bullshit decision. The only good thing about TOMB RAIDER was Jolie, she was born to play Lara Croft and she did a great job of it. Nah, there's only one guy to blame for the crap level of the movie -- Simon West. The script was shit? It was HIS script. The directing and editing were shitty? HE directed the damn thing.
They replace Angelina Jolie, I swear to God TOMB RAIDER II will be an even worse piece of shit than the first one, and that's tough to do.
And Jesuschrist, who the hell is Kelly Brook next to Angelina Jolie? Geez...

I truly don't care. I thought TOMB RAIDER was a boring poorly acted film and it was one of the worst I have ever seen. Jolie is a terrible actress(the only film she was good in was LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT). At least this lady is hot. Jolie is a ugly broad.

well TOMB RAIDER SUCKED !!! i liked Jolie playing her and all the gags and the basically good filmed flick, but it just sucked!!!! and we knew it'd suck, but we watched it, because of Jolie!
and we'll know TR 2 will suck, but we're gonna watch it because of who-knows-what kinda sexy chick will play Lara......

Angelina Jolie has signed up for a sequel to Tomb Raider because she'll be able to try out the latest underwater technology and train with circus troupe Cirque Du Soleil. The actress played Lara Croft in the 2001 action adventure and had reservations about enhancements that made her seem more curvy, so she's stipulating that the sequel will be an underwater adventure that will see her character looking more athletic. As most of you said, replacing Angelina Jolie would definitely ruin it! just like in the Batman movies Michael Keaton was the best!!! Val Kilmer sucked! and George Clooney just sucked more @$$!!! anyway, I think replacing her is not a good idea. That's what drew me into watching Tomb Raider, is that Angelina Jolie was perfect for the role!

The problem with Clooney's was the script and the stupid nipples on the suits. But as Batman he worked for me.
