If you like a VERY VERY VERY convoluted plot that DOES add up to something, you will love it. It seems to make NO sense whatsoever. But, I'm the kind of person that (somethings) likes to watch a movie a couple of times and talk to several people before I fully understand it. I thought it was very weird, but very good. Have you ever seen any David Lynch?

I'm a BIG David Lynch fan and I LOVE 'Mulholland Drive'! It's a totally twisted flick, and once you think you've sorted out the plot, it loses you again.
It's also a great companion piece to Lynch's other recent macabre masterpiece 'Lost Highway'.
THUMBS UP!

Well I`m a big David Lynch fan, but I did NOT think this one one of his better movies.
There were certain scenes that I loved, but the movie as a whole just seemed sub-par compared to his other work.

I'm surprised I made it all the way through Mulholland Drive without turning it off. Anyone can compile random imagery and slap it onto celluloid. Lynch could have written the screenplay in five minutes, and people would still praise it religiously, labeling it as sheer brilliance. I wonder what Lynch is like on the set of one of his "masterpieces." "Ok, I want that guy's head to turn into a microwave, and, um, I need her to lick herself for no apparent reason."

******SPOILERS*******
******If you havent't seen don't go any farther******
******I mean it! You'll kick yourself!******
Okay, with all those warnings., I think I covered my ass. I don't know if any of you got the film, but it basically was a pre-suicidal mastabatory fantasy. If you seen the film, think about everything up until the last ten minutes, then what happens? Basically the girl was spurned by her lesbian lover and killed her and felt guilty about it, so she gets off to some fantasy and then blows her brains out. It really was well done and at first I was like, "Great movie, but what the hell was the ending about?" Now I'm like, "Great movie!" And if you haven't seen it and read this far, you only cheated yourself http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif
