Everyone who hasn't read the interview yet, read it ASAP!!!!!!! It's a great conversation and gets funny in some parts. To all that think PA is a worthless hack, well that's your problem. You made my day Arrow. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif Can't wait until the second part.

Good interview, but I'd rather have Cameron tackling AVP. I don't have faith in Anderson.

Arrow, I hope you gave the gave the guy a chance to take a verbal potshot at that prick Harry Knowles. Knowles has been nothing but hateful towards PA much to the delight of the many sycophantic acolytes that pollute the Ain't It Cool News forums. You have no idea how much of a relief it was to discover Joblo.com. I know this isn't a forum geared towards up to the minute news but on a purely professional level both Joblo and yourself kick Knowles' amateur hour ass all over the place in terms of quality movie reviews. I almost never wander over to AICN these days.

Oh yeah. Before I forget. Great interview. An Event Horizon special edition DVD is pretty near the top of my wish list.

Thanks guys, the second part is coming soon. I had a blast doing the interview.

NOTE: I didn't mention Harry Knowles cause I didn't think he deserved the attention.

I do touch the issue of how Paul deals with bad press in the second part of the interview though.

Probably the right attitude. I just think that there has to be something more to explain the level of antipathy Harry Knowles directs at Paul Anderson. It's like it's personal or something. The guys a dick. Full stop.

I enjoyed this interview as well and liked Resident Evil better on the small screen the second time around. I also liked the lacking making of where Paul acknowledged his use of light and the overall look of the film. Personally I didn't care for the look of the film being a huge fan of the game franchise I felt the film had a very polished hi-tech look about it where the game is dark and gritty. The score was outstanding and the cuts went well with that so it is very entertaining but I personally would liked to have scene the script focus around themes of resident evil one more so then the second game I felt this movie looked like with the train and underground facility. Anyways Overall I look forward to more films from PA and hopefully some of this attention on this area of the genre will bring George A's project into the greenlight!
