Well I rented Halloween II and April Fool's Day. Well about Halloween II...I loved it and everything but I'm taking a big guess as to say that John Carpenter had NO intentions of making Laurie Micheal's sister. I guess they needed a reason why Micheal was stalking Laurie and not just killing at random. It just seemed kind of funny that they just threw that in there, "Oh yeah, there's a secret file about Michel and Laurie is really his sister." Seems kind of fishy, seems like a lot more people would know!
Anywayz...has anyone seen April Fool's Day?? I would LOVE to get people's opinions about this. The ending definetely surprised me and I'm still not for sure if I'm happy with it or not...
Also, at my local Blockbuster they had a copy of the movie "The Town That Dreaded Sundown." Has anyone seen this movie?? I was tempted to rent it because they mention that movie in Scream. Looked interesting...

The Town That Dreaded Sundown is incredibly dated and Boring. But I'm sure twenty years ago it was damn scary. I wouldn't reccomend it.
April Fool's Day is GREAT! One of my favorite horror movies. I just finished watching it about ten minutes ago.

I was watching a documentary on Halloween (I've gone blank from where I saw it... Possibly H20 DVD????) and there was an interview with John Carpenter. He said that one night he was up late trying to write more for Halloween 2 but was having trouble because he felt that there was nothing left to write for the characters. That they were done, and then it kind of just hit him... make Michael, Laurie's sister. So yeah, if you notice it's just kind of thrown in there, it apparently was. He said it was just an off the cuff thing, that turned into the basis for the entire Halloween series. Werid huh?
And about April Fool's Day, I really really like the movie. I think I liked it so much because I was partly soooooooooo pissed at the ending of the movie! I was screaming at the TV! "FUCK THAT SHIT!!!!!" It's become one of my favorite horror movies!! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I LOVE April's Fools Day!!!!
That movie is such a blast!!
Haven't seen "The Town..." yet, but I must say, I always wanted to see it, because when I was a kid, I remember my sisters talking about it and they made it sound really scary.

Awww thank you!!
Well I guess I'm still kind of in the middle about April Fool's Day. Maybe I should watch again. But one thing is confusing me...should it actually be considered a horror movie?? I mean *SPOILER* none of it really happened...it was all a prank...
