View Full Version : What's up with AMC Theatres?

I went this one theatre that used to be General Cinema, to find out that they've changed to AMC. Before, a bargain show was $6, but now it's $7. Then they have all these signs everywhere saying that you have to bring an ID and be at least 25 years or older to see an R-rated movie. What the fuck's with that?!!

It seems to me that the cinema has a bad case of paranoia just a guess but maybe it is so afraid of anal type censorship that it has gone waay over the top with who can and cannot see the films.
Sorry dude I guess they think films are more damaging than guns kinda unreasonble to say the very least.

Is it an adult*nudge nudge wink wink* theatre because saying you have to be 25 seems kind of excessive to me,isn't 21 the legal adult age in america?(for drinking atleast)
