I've actually heard ALOT about these cheese fest, starring Cowboy Lash LeRue. Apparently, its one of the great cheese masterpieces of the eighties.

~~~It recently got a DVD release in the UK, so to answer your question, No, it's not really considered obscure.
I'd say you have a helluva time finding it on VHS though.
