Basket Case DVD

I recently purchased the 20th Anniversary of the original Basket Case on DVD, and i must say it is awesome. It is loaded with extras, behind the scenes stuff, and they even revisit the area of New York City where the movie was filmed..with director Frank Heinlotter(i think that's his name lol). Any fellow BC fan should check it out. I've seen it at Sam Goody, but i got mine from On-Cue Music and Movies. You may also find it at Suncoast. Now if i can only find the sequels on DVD.

the one in the uk has shit extras i want the us one. i have part 2 and 3 on dvd and i still aint seen part 1 yet.

Jewbo dude, i'm pretty sure that if you can somehow find a way to order the US version, that you can get it mailed to you, or parcel service (like UPS or Fed Ex) can deliver it to your home. Thanks for leaving a message on my topic...rock on!!

Ro's baby, you just spoke the gospel there.. LOL. It is da shiznit movie. I freakin LOVE the scene selection.."Belial Goes Bonkers". My man was breaking static all over that motel room. LOL He rearranged it. I showed it to my cousins..and they were all rolling when they saw it. LOL. Nobody can fly out of a basket better than Belial. Jewbo, i hope you manage to get your hands on a US version. You'll thoroughly enjoy it. They should make the US and UK/European versions the same.

Hey GM26...I was just talking to a good friend of mine about how much we LOVE the scene where Belial is in the hotel room and he's thumping the bed up and down.....and the stop motion animation is sooooo darn cheesy!

R Baby, yall love it to? LOL It's funny as hell..he looks all claymation looking.(What really gets me is when he throws the dresser drawer...even the drawer looks claymation LOL. If you watch it close, you can see whenever Belial drops down from the basket, he kinda takes a hard fall to the floor, he almost falls over..and you can hear the thud. LOL He has this black thing that looks kinda like an ink pen in his hand..he lays that down easily, but then he treats the dresser drawer like a redheaded stepchild. LOL It kills me! LOL

It's the "thud" heard round the world when Belial hits that floor!

Also, listen closely to the noises of exertion that Belial makes when he throws the things across the room - that's what used to get us rolling with laughter!!!

Ah...it's just so wonderful!

LOL) There is alot that's funny as hell in Basket Case. Take for example..the scene selection "Smoldering Grudge"..whenever the woman quack doctor opens the basket, watch her hair. It flies back even before Belial jumps on her back. LOL And did you notice in the scene, where Duane was dreaming he was butt-ass naked running down the street..he's one bo-legged rascal. LOL

Anyway, I LOVE Basket Case so damn much!! It's so funny, I can't wait to get the DVD, and yes, that hotel fit of rage is simply one of the greatest scenes ever caught on film!!!

It's so great to know others love Duane and Belial as we do... LMAO!!

I'll look for the scene where the woman's hair goes flying, I love finding little goofs like that in these movies... I'm sure there's a ton of them...
