Halloween 1 Question

Alright,i really would appreciate this,its for my Halloween 9 script im in the beginning early stages of...alright i am as big of a halloween fan as any other,but i cant seem to remember,did Lindsey Wallace,the girl Laurie was babysitting along with Tommy Doyle...Survive?I want to know for my script,i was thinking of adding the character in present day showing her as an adult,since she has been forgetten basically...if tommy can be a character,then why not her?And if she did live,i will most definetly use her....so what would you think of her character being used?Thanks,appreciate it alot...also,my script will not be like Halloween:Resurrection http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Actually the girl driving Jamie and Rachel to the costume store in Halloween 4 was named lindsey. So that may or may not have been a reference to the original Halloween. But in the original she was about 7 and the character in Halloween 4 was about 17

thats pretty odd,if they were the same character,it would be correct on the ten year mark (1978 was the first halloween,1988 was the 4th) but i dont see why theyd bring such a short role to her and not even mention she was survivor...anyways,i'd still like opinions on if yous would like a try at brining her back...

i think that in HALLOWEEN 4 they hinted that lindsay was the same lindsay from HALLOWEEN. "you remember lindsay dont you?" i think it was stated that laurie babysat for lindsay also.

Well as some of you may know, I am quite outspoken AGAINST all the Michael Myers Halloween sequels, but I gotta admit, this is one idea that actually sounds interesting to me....MM stalking the survivors of the original for some reason..... while you have not stated that is the direction of your story, that idea surely would get my ass in a theatre seat...

Hey, I never considered that Lindsey from 4 could be the same as part one but that's very interesting. It must have atleast been an homage to her, but that's cool I never considered it.
Anyways, about bringing her back there's a couple things to consider:
-why would Michael all of a sudden go after Lindsey? What purpose would he have to do such a thing? She isn't a relative and hasn't bothered with him since the original, unlike Tommy in 6.
-if anyone has the Halloween comics from Chaos, the latest edition (The Devil's Eyes) already used this storyline. Tommy went to Lindsey for help who is now a reporter and doing a story on Michael and is somewhat obsessed with him.
Before you write your story I suggest you check out the comic book, just to keep your ideas fresh.

That actually isnt the worst idea,and hey i mean if i was to get a script made into a movie in the franchise/series,i dont see why i couldnt use that idea,but i would ratehr take a diffrent approach...my idea is basically finished but i am still working on tadbits here and there.Lindsay and Michael really wont want to face each other,but in a way the are just brought together and pushed to kill one or each.

What about Laurie's son John? I mean, H2O wasn't the best Halloween movie by any means, but I think it'd be a good idea to have him in it, seeing as how H8 ignored him.

Jamie's baby (Stephen from pt 6) lived, so now he would be grown up and maybe trying to seek revenge.
Side point: Didnt the H6 Producer's cut infer Jamie's baby was a result of Micheal raping her while the Thorn cult held her down?

her baby is infact alive as you and many others stated,but hes no more then 10 or 11 years old...i dont know if i'd want him in my script,i want as less teeny bopper characters and nominations for a role a TB actor can take...not to mention i dont like loads of people surviving,and hate it when a person survives that did nothing.i dont know how to explain really,its just my opinion which is always hard to voice.

To prove you wrong...watch both of them. They are clearly a diffeent person.
I think it would be cool if the Lindsay that drove Rachel and Jamie in 4 was the Lindsay from 1...itd be cool. Im also writing a Halloween 9 script..Lindsay Wallace is also in it.
