Can Anyone Shed Some Light on the Hulk Script?

Nope they are not. There's a couple stories on it over at Aint It Cool News , and Ang Lee is making MAJOR changes.*SpoilerS*

One of them being that Banner is not directly involved in the gamma accident, but it is genetic now. Another supposedly is that he gradually transforms into the Hulk, not making the final transformation till the end of the film(wich totally changes his internal struggle). Thats what the reports are anyway...you should be able to search AICN and find the stories...

some Hulk rats and Hulk dogs. but when he changes at the end, he can't go back, being forced to live with what hes done. or something like that, going against the comic origin. like Ang Lee really wanted to know how u become a Hulk, instead of gamma rays just being a plot device to make him

Yup supposedly it's so. Now rumors are rumors, but apparently the sources have been reliable.

Urgh...I hope those rumors aren't true. I like the Hulk, I'm not a huge fan as I would be for Spider-man, Batman or Superman, but I think those choices are BAD. I can't really explain why, but it's my feeling that if those rumors are true, people will be disappointed, and I'll be among them.

Now we all know from the teaser that he can change and change back. Also there are Hulk rats and dogs in the comic.

I have heard that originally the Hulk was going to battle some villain, most likely The Absorbing Man. Then once Ang Lee became involved he wanted to start from scratch and make a new script.

From what I have read and heard this movie sounds like it will follow the comics very closely. There is going to be more then one manifestation of the Hulk, just like in the comics.

At first there is the Grey Hulk, it is much smarter then the Green Savage Hulk and it is aggressive. The Grey Hulk is very strong but not near as strong as the Green Savage Hulk. (In the very first Hulk comic there was no Green Hulk, it was just the Grey Hulk, then later on Banner manifested into the Green Hulk) The Grey Hulk calls himself Joe Fixit.

Then there is the Savage Hulk, the one we all know and love. This manifestation is no smarter then a child and there is no limit to its strength.

There is also the Guilt Hulk. All of Banners guilt is manifested into this form. It is much larger then the Savage Hulk and also is not nearly as nice.

And my favorite is the Devil Hulk. All the dark, negative, self-loathing thoughts and emotions of Banner are manifested into this evil form. The Devil Hulk is smart and definitely a bad guy.

There is The Professor. He has the body and strength of the Savage Hulk, and the mind of Banner. There is also Savage Banner, where the mind of savage hulk takes over Banners body. There is Mindless Hulk, where Savage Hulk completely loses his mind and becomes like a wild animal.

I don’t know for a fact all of these manifestations are going to be in the movie, but there is definitely going to be Grey Hulk (Joe Fixit). It is just rumored that the others will be in it.
