Wow I had sooo much fun today its insane. This is the first time I ever went to a convention of this type and it was a blast. I got to meet the arrow and joblo who both are super nifty guys as well as Llyod kauffman who signed a terror firmer dvd for me, Guillermo del toro and ron pearlman who signed a hellboy poster for me and I saw reggie banister for a second. He is going to be signing with angus scrimm on saturday so I'll have to get my phantasm dvd signed. Today was fun times. Oh and steve-O I couldnt find corey haim I looked but it looks like that dream aint happening. Anyone else out there go to the comic con?

I just walked up to them and started chatting. both were extremly nice guys. I asked arrow if he cast his movie yet and he said he was still working on it. They talked about having been in party mode for the whole past week. i had to get back in line for the hellboy signing so i didnt talk too long but both seemed like wild zany guys.

Did arrow say he was sick of people asking him if he cast his movie yet because in another thread some anonymous schmoes(it wasn't me i swear! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif)kept on asking him about it, and if you talk to angus scrimm are you going to ask him to say "BOOOOOOY"

Well I just got back from my second trip to the comic con and I'm pooped but what a day!. I met Angus Scrimm from Phantasm aka The Tall Man and got his autograph on my phantasm dvd I also got reggie Banisters autograph on the dvd. As for my question i posted earler about when phantasm 2 is getting a dvd release I got it straight from the source. Banister said universal holds the rights to part two and they arn't seeming keen on releasing it on dvd. Sooooo they are trying to convince mgm to buy the rights off of them so they can do a box set. I talked with warwick Davis aka Willow/leprechaun/wicket for a little bit and that was fun. I also got to meet Stan winston and got a free issue number 1 of his new comic book signed by him. I asked him about the new pumpkinhead and he said it was being talked about but no preproduction has begun. Other neat people I talked with were the puppeteer for Labrynth, Dark crystal, Jabba the hut, and Little Shop of Horrors. The man who played darth Vader, Willows little hunter friend in the movie and I got an art print signed by brian Froud the artist who came up with all the concept art for labrynth and the dark crystal. Ooh and I got to see Jason Lee from a distance as a mob closed in on him of screaming fans. Whew what a day. If you ever get a chance to go to a big convention like this GO! its so much fun.

I used to go to these comic conventions or comic marts as they called in England.
The last one I went to was when I was 18 which is some a few years back now(18 till I die my arse).
However I do reamber having a lot of fun there just brings back memeorys of spending far too much money on things.
For some reason no girls went there hmmm....
Could have been the anaoracks that scared them off or the sight of an overwieght sexualy frustrated 40 something arguing about the origin of spidermans black costume while downloading nude pictures of wounder woman I don't know.

My Unboorn children just lost years off their life. Convicted criminals should be forced to stare at those pictures for at least 6 hours a day for their sentence. The crime rate would drop...... Fuck my eyes hurt. Anyone else notice his lazy eye in that last picture? Ugh

I honestly only saw them for a few seconds but they burned their images into my brain forever. I just saw in joblos my weekend at the comic con pictures arnold was at the comic con and I missed seeing his presentation. James cameron too ack i need to plan better next time.
