Need help again schmoes!!!!!!

Does any of you'z schmoes know a movie in which electrical items and cars and stuff go crazy and start attacking. For example, a soda machine spits soda cans out at people. And the trucks drive themselfs. Any help would be great. Thanks once again you schmoes.

It's called Maximium Overdrive, it's based on a Steven King short story called trucks.

Maximum Overdrive starring 80's pretty boy and Brat Pack member Emilio Estevez.

It was based on a Stephen King novel,and it was one of the rare instances when he also directed.

From what i remember it was emtertaining,if not way too fantastical,but i'm not sure how it would hold up after all this time.

Now,do i get the booby prize for the correct answer,or is the knowledge that i've seen way too many movies in my lifetime enough consolation?

Actually, "Maximum Overdrive" wasn't based on a Stephen King novel, it was based on a short story he had published in his Night Shift collection. The story was titled "Trucks". It was also made into a horrid TV movie of the same name starring Timothy Busfield. Funny, this is the only movie he has ever directed.
