Although I've heard Jackie Chan has expressed great interest in playing the lead. Personally, I can't think of anybody better to play a goofball like Goku.

lets see any of these actors be in a DBZ movie...why try and ruin this show,not that its good,but try and ruin the japanimation style and show they have balls and release a damn full length animated movie...if disney can and pokemon can,why the fuck cant they?oh and for the record,i wont see this!

yeah this sounds ridiculous, why would they try and make dbz live action? that would ruin everything about anime. there have already been several dbz movies released in japan,i just dont think theres enough of a widespread interest in the show here in the us to justify developing it into a live action movie, especially if you're suggesting actors who would do their dialogue in english. asian audiences would be so pissed

Unfortunately
a Dragon Ball Z movie
already exists, and it
is the biggest cheese
ball I ever saw.
It's called;
'Dragon Ball:The Adventure Begins'.

And it's not even officially recognized because Goku is called 'Monkey Boy' and Master Roshi is called 'The Turtle Master'.
Being a big fan of the anime, I will leave it to this and say that I won't see the movie either.

The anime' is far superior and has a very even blend of science fiction, martial arts and humor that could only be done once in a lifetime. And it has been the number one show for 4 years on Cartoon Network, and I think that alone says something special right there.
Let the hacks have at it, I will stick with the animated series, which rules big time!
