maybe in a few years we should have a horror con/festival with all the schmoes, it would be great we can get a big screen and show horror movies and actually have conversations about the movie genre we love.

I like this idea. We should all convene somewhere and make it one big partying horror fest, or at least some of us agree to meet at a FANGO weekend of Horrors sometime. Why not?

where is that Fango horror weekends at? I live in Florida id like to do that one weekened if I can get a car first.

They're having one in Pasadena, CA as we speak. I think the next one is supposed to be in Brooklyn, NY in January. Hey NuclearMisfit, are you going to be a mortician? That's where it's at, man! Im thinking about becoming one, I dont mind blood or guts so im fine. There is a lot of horror movie cons in Europe. For example, in Finland, there's a horror movie con called "Night Visions" every year (sometimes twice or three times in a year). They've been showing new horror movies like "From Hell", "Ichi The Killer" and "Ghosts Of Mars" and some older movies like "Driller Killer", "Astro Zombies", "Peeping Tom", H.G. Lewis' Blood Trilogy and "Black Sabbath". There's also been some kick-ass guests like Dario Argento and Christopher Lee. BTW, this isn't the only finnish horror con.

I heard the All Night Horror Show in Holland wuz pretty cool this year... I wasn't there; I've already seen all the movies they showed.

One of the most famous horror fesivals here in Holland is the 'Festival van de Fantastische Film', the festival of the fantastic movie. I think I'll go there next year.

Sounds like a wonderful idea, except a lot of schmoes like myself who are living in the Asia Pacific rim would miss out. You'd have to keep us abreast of the con online.

(PS: Just found out this evening that my boss has met and chatted with Christopher Lee, and had no idea he was talking with a great genre actor. Dummy.)

Ya,I would go to it,but fuck that,it is either too far or some shit like that.I mean I love horror movies and all,but I have football and other commitments to attend to.I would go to one if it was on a friday and held here in beautiful Vancouver.And it dosent rain as much as everyone says it does
