Best movie to get bro turned on to horror

My brother used to watch scary movies all the time while I used to be too scared. Now I am addicted and he hardly watches them now. I just wanted to know what a good movie would be to get him turned back on to horror so I will have someone else to watch with (even though watching alone is scarier)I know I could suggest my own movie picks but I just wanted a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. opinion!

Entice him with two films that are polar opposites from one another. Remind him that horror is more varied than any other genre out there. I'd say Bad Taste and Black Christmas oughta do the trick.

Sounds like your brother has seen a lot of horror and perhaps gone off it. Well, try The Haunting (1963 original), Les Yeux Sans Visage (a French b&w horror with subtitles), and Don't Look Now. That ought to get him back in the spirit of enjoying good horror.

If you want something easier to find in your local video rental place, show him The Shining.

Hit him with a triple bill of Evil Dead II, Dawn Of The Dead and Near Dark. If that doesn't work wonders then give up. He's beyond hope.
