Star Wars Episode II: AOTC, will be the biggest dissapoinment in years!

I think it is gonna flop! it will make a gazillion dollars either way, but judging by the 2 star ratting that ebert gave, (who is veeeeeery generous) and slantmagazine also gave it 2/4, hell they gave glitter a higher ratting!!! (3/4) I think it is gonna suck... the biggest dissapointment in years! mark my words!

So? Ebert gave FIGHT CLUB a 2/4 too. Not to mention the fact that his AOTC review doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Ebert doesn't determine how much $ movies will make cause of his reviews. if that were true, Gladiator wouldn't have made all that money.

any critic who gives glitter 3/4 shouldn't be trusted anyway although i can't be to critcal bacause i havn't seen the movie nor do i intend on doing so.

But things always seem to get heated when the movie is big.

But just simmer down everyone, go see it for yourself then form your own opinion.

Then come back her and hash it out with everyone else who has their own opinion.

You know this is so true about SW in particular. Over at AICN, they are just NUTS in the talk backs...it's like,c'mon it's a MOVIE! Ya likes it or ya don't likes it, your dissapointed or your not. For those familiar with that site , their best writer hands down is Alexandra DuPont, and tho everyone knows this, I couldn't believe how the SW fans were just ripping her a new asshole just because she didn't give it a raving review. But she didn't bash it, as a matter of fact reccomended just to go see it and have fun!

You gotta be fucking kidding me. Alexandria liked Pearl Harbor for god's sakes. Not only does she trash the movie, but towards the end of her review, she starts to put in quotes from other negative reviews and the negative opinions of those who saw it, leaving out all the positive ones, just to prove her point! Now if that's not ignorant, then I don't know what is.
