Knight Rides Again
Knight Rider revs up at Revolution Studios...
March 19, 2002 - And now, children of the '80s... the news you've been waiting for years to hear: Knight Rider is finally set for its first big screen ride. According to today's Variety, the long-rumored project will speed into theaters by way of Sony-based Revolution Studios. The property is reportedly being "overhauled" by Revolution who will target young, action-oriented moviegoers – think the Fast and the Furious crowd.
Revolution is partnering with Mayhem Pictures' Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray for the retooled Rider film. The original series creator Glen A. Larson will be returning to franchise to write the first draft of the screenplay. And what about The Hasselhoff?! David will executive produce the feature along with Larson, and will probably have some sort of onscreen role.
The original series revolved around the mysterious crime fighter Michael Knight and KITT, his custom black Trans Am that was capable of speeds greater than 300 MPH and "turbo boosting" 50 feet into the air upon voice command.
There's no word on what make and model the new KITT will be or whether or not "Super Pursuit Mode" or "Emergency Braking Systems" will be implemented in the new concept. As long as Hasselhoff doesn't sing, it's all good.

Whether you are into rap, or not, check out the two rap songs that are based around the theme song.
One is from Timberland and the other from Busta Rhymes.
Common Sense -- That is sooo cool, and thanks for the Hasselhoff picture. He is sooo cool.

I used to be a HUGE Knightrider fan when I was around 8-9 years old. The showed the show again a few years ago, and after watching the pilot I had to say it pretty much sucked. KIT was still cool as hell, but Hasselhoff was really bad. But the opening credits with the title tune and KIT riding towards camera was awesome. I got shivers wattching it.
Anyway, this could be interesting with a new lead.

I'm a sicko.
I not only liked this show but I also liked the star. I even watched Baywatch for a while because I thought he was cool.
I put my foot down at his singing though.
