I was watching Friday the 13th Part IV, and the scene where Jason kills the hot butt-ass-nekkid chick in the boat got me to thinking. If he supposedly drown as a kid, then how come he can swim now? He's popped up out of the water a few times now... must've learned somewhere along the way. I think they should have made that his one weakness... like if you can get to water you'd be safe or something.anyone thought of this?

Well he has had alot of time to learn how to swim. And he built a shack kinda thing, and he dident go to carpenter school. And if Michael can learn to drive then Jason can learn to swim

Also, bear in mind he's *dead*. No fear of drowning if you don't have to breathe. Underwater would be just another environment to him, so perhaps he learned to kick up to the surface and paddle.

Michael has driven a car since the first Halloween when he escaped from the mental institution. When told he couldn't have driven because he never learned how, Loomis replies "He was doing pretty well last night! Maybe some one around here gave him driving lessons."

He probably learned, They say that no body was found in the lake, so that suggests that he never actually drowned, Perhaps he almost drowned and then fled into the woods, where he became self sufficient, As seen in F13TH part 2-4.

Yeah this has been discussed before and I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that JASON has become a zombie. He has no fear of water (or anything for that matter) any more. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

This seems likely, It's empirical that he learned to provide for himself; Which entails the he likely learned how to swim as well, though unfortunately somewhat belatedly.
