Look I am going to end stepping on a thousand schmoe toes here but I have to say this because it has been simmering in my head for a long time.
For all the brainless tiresome sequels that are made to many your favourite films don't you think no I won't watch that.
I am not saying you don't but I hate seeing yet another HALLOWEEN or JASON film take up valueble space at my cinema.
I know everyone should have a choice and I am not saying anything about that but isn't a HALLOWEEN 9 about as relevant as a fish flavoured hat stand do you REALLY need to see do you REALLY need to line the pockets of yet another SHITE director.
I don't mean offend peoples taste but this board has been way over friendly to the endless sequel making films.
I can't stand and I don't really see way you need something like a 1000th LEPRICAUN film wasn't one film of visual musac enougth.
All I am saying really is wouldn't you rather see an original idea rather than a FREDDY v JASON flick I know I would.

I've been waiting Years for Freddy vs Jason and my life wont be complete until I see it. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
But yes I see what you mean. Halloween Resurrection should not have been made or maybe they just shouldn't have cast Busta...I dunno.
Also, it seems like the only people who don't realize that we don't need another Leprechaun movie is the people that make them. Wouldn't you love to jump through your tv screen and kick the little bastard in the nuts?

overfriendly? maybe we just like them? another topic that just comes down to personal taste in these things, but i quite like watching stupid sequels.
as for taking up space in cinemas, is not that big an issue. the small cinemas prolly wont show them anyway, and the big multiplexes have enough screens to go round. and as for halloween9 being relevant, well yeah, it is. it is a way of starting an end, if ya see what i mean. losing one of the main characers starts to bring tings to a close. everyone would love to see an new original film, but we do need something to fill the gaps, and y not something people enjoy and i really dont mind lining the pockets of another director. he made a film i like. i am goigng to pay him for it.
and fvsj is going to be hoot.

I agree. It's just personal taste, personally I like these endless F13TH and Halloween sequels.

KamikaZ3, you say that resurrection had to be made to start to bring some closure to the series but wasn't it enough closure when Michael got his fuckin' head chopped in H20?

(Yes I know that it wasn't Michael that died in H2O, but it shoulda been.)
