k, i don't understand this. In part 6, the name of crystal lake was changed to "camp forest green" because of jason's mayhem, they wanted to start again and change the name. Fine. But in part 7, the town is once again, called crystal lake. AND, Jason was drowned in front of the cabins in part 6, but in part 7 the spot he drowned in was right in front of the psychic girls house, and the house was there for a long time, because when she has a flashback of being a little girl the house is there, and no cabins. what's goin on?

I noticed that myself last time I re-watched this film, chalk it up as continuity screw up dude.
When a sequel is made often times theyll ignore, little details like those..
After a while you just learn to ignore these little continuity hiccups and just go with the flow.. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I don't care about the names in a slasher movie, it is not that important.
Btw, F13th 7 is in my top three for the serie.

Since Part 6 failed at the box office they wanted to bring the series back to its more serious tone and forget about part 6 so I think thats why they changed the name back. As for the other point you brough up... well lets just say the F13 series isn't exactly known for its continuity. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

If memory serves, Part VI was filmed in Georgia (I think), but Part VII was filmed in Alabama (I'm pretty sure). To paraphrase Cher (no, not that one): Looking for continuity in the F13 series is like looking for meaning in a Pauly Shore movie.
[Oh, and if anyone cares, VIII was, I believe, shot mostly in Vancouver; IX, in Connecticut.
And VI is my favorite in the series.]

Yup! Like in part 4, some dude says that Jason was cremated and dead...and in part 6, his body is fully gooey in a graveyard...
Dont mind those details, just enjoy the two best movies in that series.

Yeah that was in part 5 when the mayor said that. However there could be two explanations for this. He could have been misinformed or he could have just been making it up so people wouldn't panic and start worrying about JASON. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
