i know blockbuster has some promotion going on where if u rent a new flick like blade 2 u can buy it previewed for 9.99, but u have to wait til they start cutting stock. u know how they always have like 20 copies of a new flick then, once it gets old they keep 1 or 2 and sell the rest. but those are usually 12.99 or 14.99. blockbuster usually inflates their prices anyway. u can buy a previewed blockbuster flick for like 14.99 and get the same flick, brand new, for the same price or cheaper at most other stores.

Wow. That IS wierd. But I stopped believing the concept of logic was involved with Blockbuster years ago when I brought it to their attention that they were charging 2 different prices for the same previous viewed movie at two stores across the hwy from eachother. Try as he could the young clueless manager couldn't give me a reason as to WHY his store was charging $3 more than the one across the hwy. It didn't even try to use the age-old excuse of inflation or ownership rights. He couldn't. He just stood there and blinked.
