Do you write little horror/horror-related stories? Post them here, if you want. Don't know about the rest, but I'd love to read them.

I have a one story. It's not not really horror, but since it's inspired by Ambrose Bierce's (a horror novelist) stories, I think it's kind of horror-related. It's called "The Noose". Read it here...

I wrote a Re-Animator/Godzilla story at the Monster Zero site that has Herbert West trying to obtain the precious G-cells to create a horrific monster. I don't know if many people here would want to read it because not everyone knows much about the Japanese Godzilla fandom, except Countchocula and Kim_Ez.

I've written a strange, mind-bending story called Jorn. It's about a girl, named Angela, who begins envisioning all these strange and horrifying images in her every day life, including visions of a dead family who used to live in the house she and her family moved into, and visions of her mom who had died a week before all this began. She begins seeing a pyschiatrist who tells her she has a rare disease in which she confuses her dreams with her reality, and people and places she sees in her life may never have existed. Then she is greeted by a mysterious man, in a black trenchcoat (named Jorn), who explains to her the horrifying truth about the meaning of her dreams, which... I can't reveal. The story features many creepy scenes including; weird paranormal events happening in the girl's house, a possessed grandmother, zombies, a strange caller,a pyscho boyfriend, a clown coming out of a boy's television set, a crucifix impaling someone, and many other gory visions of monsters and ghosts. In a sense, some parts to it are like the spanish film Abre Los Ojos. It actually turned out pretty good and I'm hoping to get it published.

Heres my short story I wrote earlier this year. I recon it's alright for a rushed job.

Shadows of the Night

A short story of sex, blood and crooked cops.

By DeaditeDerik

Martha’s was the dirtiest brothel in town. It had the cheapest, youngest whores in the seedy streets of outer Melbourne. Now, it is a bloodbath, a house of carnage, brutality at its finest.

Cops cars lined the streets as a number of Melbourne’s worst, most crooked cops entered the building of death, ready for anything. What greeted them was the foul stench of death. With flashlights in one hand, standard police issue handguns in the other, they roamed through the dark building from room to room, finding nothing but pools of blood and the occasional bloody handprint on the wall or door, the occasional limb. As they got deeper and deeper into the building the smell got worse, the air was getting damper. They eventually got to the room, now known as ‘The Devil’s Playground’.

The room was filled with the corpses of whores, crooks, drug lords, and other forms of lowlife scum that roam the streets of outer Melbourne, some decapitated, some impaled on cheap furniture. A small number of cops ran from the room vomiting in large amounts. One of the remaining officers, and old-timer, stepped forward, looking more closely at the bodies, being on the force for thirty years, he’d seen this kind of thing before, but never as bad as this. He slowly stood back up.
“All their rib cages have been ripped open by something,” He said looking up at them. “And their mouths have some kind of strange burning on them.”
“Some kind of cult sir?” A rookie said, feeling kind of woozy.
“Likely,” The old-timer replied, turning to face the bodies. “But…”
The old-timer was interrupted by a loud crunching sound coming from under his feet, a head. The head was crushed, the brain had been removed by someone, something. The rookie couldn’t take it anymore; he ran to the closest door, the ladies bathroom, kicking the door open, and stopping. The other officers stared at him, confused.
“Sir.” The rookie managed to say, keeping his breakfast, lunch and dinner down.
The old-timer walked over to the rookie.
“Holy shit.” The old-timer said nice and slowly.
Crouched in the corner, stark naked and covered in blood, was a survivor.
She was muttering something, over and over again. “El diablo vino para ellos.”
“Get her out of here,” The old-timer ordered. “She’s delusional, some kind of language, she’ll just get in the way.”
The rookie ran forward, picked her up, and carried her away, away from the horror.
“Alright people,” Said the old-timer. “Keep searching, we’ve still got a few more rooms to go.”
They then all saw someone, something, moving around in the shadows, or was it the shadows themselves?
“Who’s there?” the old-timer asked.

The rookie and the girl left the building, greeted by the smell of industrialism and cigarette smoke. A single cop, who was loosing at cards, noticed the two.
“Hey!” he yelled. “He’s got someone with him!”
Officers all ran to the spot where the rookie stood, the girl still muttering. Then, all hell broke lose in Martha’s, gunshots, yelling and screaming, emitted from the building.

The rookie is sitting on an uncomfortable leather chair, in the small office of the Lieutenant who is in charge of the police facility. The first thing that the rookie noticed when he entered the office was the stained walls and the dead plant on the desk. The Lieutenant looks up at him.
“You did well rookie, there was nothing you could do.” He says.
The rookie looks up. “I know sir.”
“Did you get a translator onto that girl?” He asks.
“Yes,” he says. “She was saying, she was saying ‘the devil came for them.’ ”

It is copyrighted, PLEASE don't take ideas because I haven't published..again, PLEASE don't tke it.

Yes I have and it was formerly titled "7 Nights in Richardsville" (Because I didn't like the title...I was willing to change it...but I haven't found a decent title...remebering to make a thread for ideas) My story is a mix between Silent Hill, Jacob's Ladder and other psychologic horror elements

Ok, this is the story:
(Spoilers!! AS IF YOU CARED http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif...)

Chapter I: Dream Before Nightmare

The story begins with 17 year old Jason Sullivan suntaning in the beach (Jason's ultimate pleasure )aside his beautiful girlfriend Kirsten. After a few pages he realizes that he was dreaming and he is in the last period of a party friday. Outside the classroom, he meets with his best friend Todd. They meet with Kirsten and Melissa (A girl who Todd's had a crush for some time) they had a plan to go to McDonald's to eat and then go to change to their houses. In McDonald's, the reader is deepened in their friendly relationship.
The girl's later go to Kirsten's house and Todd and Jason go to Jason's house.
At Jason's (his parents are leaving town for the weekend)...when theye hangng, he is dropped to the ground with a vision of a woman, wrapped in bloodstained bandages, coverng her eyes, neck and body. She is crying in the floor of a windowless, rusted room (Shades of Silent Hill)...he wakes up.
At the party, Todd and Melissa become a couple and Jason has another of those disturbing visions.
After the party, Todd wouldstay at Jason's for the weekend, and going home they almost have a fatal accident (Almost), leaving Todd incredibely scared.

Chapter II: The Arrival

At night, Jason is kept awake in concern...he was scared of the visions...also, he hears a strange levitation sound in the attic.
Next morning, Todd gives a talk on life and death to Jason explain how much he apreciates life (His father died some time ago) and that he wants to live 40 more years.
This talk is for the reader's further shock.
At night, the sounds in the attic are heard again and they go investigate (Big mistake). They find a strange blood red sphere in there and when Jason takes it, they are both transported to Richardsville (Not known yet but its the representation of Jasons mind and a place where he would pay...but...for what?...keep reading).

Chapter III: Welcome to Richardsville

They get scared and start to explore, ther are in a huge victorian (locked, whadidya thought) manor.
They see that there is something under the manor, loke a huge basement or something, here the real horror starts.

Chapter IV: Family Roots?
Jason and Todd are found (In this "world") by Jason's mother, they are found in a deep coma.
In the other side, Jason and Todd find a portrait of the people who used to live there, a father, a mother , a sister (who looks like the girl in Jason's visions) and the son (Who looks exactly...like JASON!)
and they f¿go out to the garden, where they get separated by a trap door.

Chapter V: Separate Ways

Jason (On his own) gets lost in a strange rusted blood covered maze, and Todd is trapped in a room with a mirror that will send him in the most terrifing journey. This last for the whole chapter and then, they find each other again.

Chapter VI: Horror Underneath

They find a trapdoor leading to a gigantic, underground prison complex where the former owner of the house kept and killed men from the closest town, here, they have the first sighting of Frank, the former owner of the house. (For more information on the house's past, read "Richardsville back story" at the end of this post.

Chapter VII: Farewell To A Friend

Todd gets killed by Frank in this chapter in a very dramatic scene when you are remembered how much Todd appreciated life. Jason is on his own.

Chapter VIII: The Final Hallways

Jason is alone again, and here, he will unlock the final secrets of himself, his past and the house...he finds Frank in a familiar room, Frank reveals his own past and Jason's past in a suspencefull sequence.

Chapter IX: "My Own Prison" - The Final Battle

At the end, Jason kills Frank and recieves the Eserver sphere, which will close this side and return him to his life, too bad that 4 months in a restless coma has weakened his body and mind, he can't live much.

Chapter X: A Dream Come True
A dying Jason is taken b Kirsten to the beach, to his ultimte pleasure, where he will die, but not sad, his dream had come true.

The imagery in the book is extremely disturbing, and I tried to give out much suffering for the reader as well as for the characters... What did you think?

It's not straight horror, but I write Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan fiction with horrific elements. Vampirism is a given, and I've also managed to toss in some dismemberment and gore here and there, as well as snatches of perverted smut that would make my mother blanch if she ever stumbled across it. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

If you don't mind the NC-17 rating, you can read "The Scarlet Letter," my ongoing series here:

http://www.biteable.co.uk/saturngirl/fics/scarlet.html

My story is disturbing and not for everyone. Don't say I didn't warn you if you manage to get to Chapter 4.

Wow..I am glad so many of you on here are writers, too! I write short stories ALOT and am working on a book of them. I created a haunted town that some of my writer friends are waiting for me to get one published out there so they can have there shot with the town and characters. Writing is one of the few things I do REALLY well, and I hope to get to do it with everything (screenplays, short stories, novels, and comic books). And all my short stories are horror. Sorry i didn't share to much about them...but I have had alot of ideas stolen in the weirdest ways. I.E. I told a friend once about a movie I wanted to make and we discussed it and shared ideas and then, about a year later, we're hanging out watching TV (a rarity for me, though) and this preview for this movie pops up and I swear it was almost exactly the same thing save a few small differences. We watched the movie and it was the same basic plot, but a lot of small differences. This sort of thing happens alot, so I try to keep stuff secret until they are written.

East meets West: Re-Animator vs. Godzilla

Part I: Past and Present

Many years have passed since the unfortunated mishap that occured at Miskatonic University. The event so unbelievable, yet horrific has not been forgotten by any of the staff that still continues to work there. Once you walk down the halls of the morgue, you get a feeling of catastrophe once experienced by the students who were at the scene of complete atrocity. All but one person in the "Miskatonic Massacre" continues to work at the university and hospital. His name is Herbert West.

West's first experiments began in Switzerland in 1985, where he worked with the famed Doctor Hanz Gruber. His extensions of Gruber's reseach proved to be very effective in the study of re-animating dead tissue. Among the first re-animated subjects were simple animals. Rabbits, Guinea pigs, cats and dogs. After the death of Doctor Gruber, West knew that it was time to test his re-agent on a human specimen. The re-animation of Gruber proved to be a success at the beginning, until the dosage became too large. Gruber's body could not process the amount of re-agent administrated, so he died a very horrible death the second time around.

Present day. Herbert West has been currently working at Miskatonic Hosital for 16 years. His studies have gone past using his serum in the re-animation of corpses to finding an alternative in giving life to the dead. Lately, he has turned his attention to various monsters that have appeared all over the world. He, along with other scientists, have learned that these kaiju contain cells unlike any other normal creature on earth. West theorizes that radiated cells may be beneficial to bringing corpses back to life. If he can obtain these cells and successfully transfer them in the brains of dead organisms, he will have a new form of re-animation that will result in creatures superior to his first subjects.

Part II: An Old Friend

It was Thursday, October 21 and Herbert was working on an autopsy in the morgue. The particular corpse he was working on was a helpless young man who had been attacked by several dogs. This victim had several torn veins and a severed jugular. "Now this would be a perfect subject! What my re-agent would fail to bring to life, the radiated cells would make up for!" West continued with the autopsy when a familiar face showed up. Herbert looked up, stared in disbelief and removed his glasses. "Dan? Dan Cain? Is that you?"

"Hello, Herbert. It's been a while." "No, Dan...", replied Herbert. "...it's only been fifteen years. That's nothing."
Dan chuckled. "Same old Herbert West." "So, what have you been up to all these years, Dan?" "Oh, I've lived in New York for quite some time. Got a girlfriend. Pretty much living a normal life. And how about yourself?" "Dan, you'll never guess what I've been thinking about! You know those monsters that have been causing havoc and destruction all over the world? Most of them have radioactive cells that could bring about a new form of re-animation." "Oh God, Herbert! You're still doing that?! After all that's happened! After all we've been through! I thought by now you'd put that behind you."

"I think you're missing the point, Dan. You know that the specimens I've re-animated with my serum are vulnerable to...well...any impliments of destruction. But, if I was to use these 'monster cells' on corpses, they'd be so much stronger and more useful, especially if under our control." Dan grew more furious. "Herbert, you'd just be creating new monsters without thinking about the consequences! All of your past creations have turned out to be disasterous. I don't think I have to tell you that." Herbert wasn't the least bit bothered by Dan's protests. "Oh, Dan, I have something that you'd recognize." Herbert walked over to a drawer and opened it. He took out a metal box and walked back to Dan. "Here you go, Dan." Dan took the box and opened it. What he saw in the box made him speechless: His dead cat Rufus.

Part III: Kaiju Attack

"What the hell is this about, Herbert?! Is this some kind of insane joke?!" "Dan, this is another subject that I had in mind for the new re-animation technique. You see, Rufus' state is too much deteriorated to be brought back now. However, if we were able to use the monster cells on Rufus, he'd have life once again." "I don't believe this Herbert. I once viewed your original re-animation efforts somewhat as accomplishments, but this is just ludicrous." "Well, Dan, how else are we going to find out in those cells will work on corpses?" "What do you mean "we"? There's no way I'm going to be helping you this time around." Herbert smirked and gave his reply. "Well what the hell did you come back to Miskatonic for in the first place? You see, I think you returned at the perfect time. Now that you're back, you'll see what we'll be able to accomplish." Dan grew more furious and rolled his eyes.

"Come on Dan, we can talk in the lounge. It's my break." They walked into the staff lounge and Herbert turned on the television. There was a breaking news report about an accident that was occuring at Boston. A subterranean creature was ripping though the streets and causing severe flooding. The area was vacant as many civilians managed to flee. "Dan, I think we've found a source. Come on! There's no telling how long that thing will be around. If we're lucky, we can collect some skin samples and run tests." "I don't think so, Herbert! I said that I wasn't going to help you in these experiments!" "Okay, Dan. Then stay here. Admire the corpses. I've got to be off now." Dan let out a frustrated sigh. "Fine! I'll come." West gathered some medical supplies and they both went into his car and drove towards Boston. "Dan, this is going to be a breakthrough in medical research. Once the world finds out what we're able to do with those cells, we'll finally be famous."

Once they arrived at the scene of destruction, Herbert gathered all of the supplies and put them into his bag. They stepped out of the car and saw the creature. It was a serpentine monster covered in dark blue scales. Its head was like a dragon and its jaws were equipped with jagged fangs. Helicopters appeared from above and began firing missiles. Once it was struck, the creature let out a roar of pain, but continued with its reign of terror. Several more missiles were fired and then the creature decided to retreat. It headed for the ocean and dove into the water creating a tremendous splash. The kaiju began swimming away at a rapid speed when another huge creature surfaced in its path. Once the waves cleared, everyone could see that the new monster was Junior Godzilla. Junior roared at the serpentine beast and grabbed its neck. He lifted it out of the water and sunk his teeth into the monster's neck. After biting furiously, Junior ripped the creature in half and threw the lower part of the body towards the docks. He dropped the front part of the monster in front of him and fired his atomic ray directly at it. Junior looked at the helicopters above and disappeared beneath the water.

Herbert ran as quickly as he could towards the docks. As soon as he got there, he looked for a way to get to the severed monster's carcass. There was debris everywhere and once he got onto a platform, he took a knife out of his bag. He walked up to the creature's remains and cut off a large chunk of skin. He put the skin into a jar and closed it up. Once he was finished, he found Dan. "Well, it looks like I've got what I came for. We should be leaving now."

Part IV: Experiment

Herbert and Dan arrived back at Miskatonic later that evening. "Come on Dan, hurry! We have to experiment as quickly as we can!" They went into the morgue and Herbert took out the jar which contained the piece of flesh from the monster. He removed a small piece of the flesh and placed it under a microscope. "Ah, just as I expected. Here Dan, have a look at this." Dan looked into the microscope where he saw many active cells. "I don't believe this." said Dan in awe. "It's incredible!" "Now for the test" said Herbert. West searched through many cadavers until he came across one that had died of a heart attack. The corpse was brought over to the other equipment and placed on a table, hands and feet bound by rope. An incision was made in the back of the corpse's head. Herbert carefully cut around the perimeter of the skull until he reached the brain. After doing so, he tore off an even smaller piece of the monster's skin and applied it to the corpse's brain.

"We'll finally see what these cells are capable of. Get the tape recorder." said West. He looked at his watch back and forth to see how many seconds were going by. Herbert began to start the entry: "The time is 9:33 pm. Subject is a male and appears to be in his early 40's. Cause of death: Heart attack." Fifteen minutes eventually passed and Herbert grew frustrated. "How much damn time is this going to take?!" yelled Herbert. Dan just sat around looking unenthused at what was going on. "You know, Herbert, this theory of yours may just not be accurate." "What do you mean it may not be accurate? That creature we saw today obviously had radioactivity going through its body. It's just a matter of time before that same power brings that corpse back to life. And I've been thinking about something...why was that other creature here?" "You mean...Godzilla?" replied Dan. "Yes. I thought that infernal beast was indigenous to Japan. What the hell was in doing in Boston?" Suddenly, there was a violent shaking coming from the cadaver. Veins were portruding everywhere and blood began coming out of its mouth. "Herbert, it's starting!" "I don't understand" replied West. "If the cells have gone into effect, this thing should be up and walking around by now. Perhaps, it needs one more thing to set it off." West reached for his bag and pulled out a syringe and his green re-agent. He filled the syringe with 15 cc's of re-agent and injected it into the subject's brain. Without warning, the cadaver rised up and tore off the rope which bound it to the table. It yelled out in pain and went around knocking everything over. It kneeled down to the floor and seemed to be in an agonizing state. Herbert grabbed the recorder and began submitting the information in a hurried frenzy: "The subject appeared to be unconscience until 18 minutes after the skin was attached to the brain. Then 15 cc's of re-agent were given, resulting in the subject's enraged condition." The corpse turned its head around to face Herbert and Dan. What was once a human face, had now become monstrous in appearance. Several jagged teeth were visible, as well as scales covering the entire face. "My God!" yelled West as he continued with the recording. "The cells have transformed the subject into a reptilian creature!"

The corpse's hands had turned into claws, and it was ready to make its attack. The creature lashed out at West, punching him in the face and knocking him onto the floor. It turned its attention to Dan, who was defenseless. It charged at him, smacking him against the wall. Then at that point, it lifted him up and threw him against a cabinet. West rushed to a drawer and unlocked it, taking out a gun. He aimed towards the creature's chest and fired several times. A viscous substance poured out, but the subject was not defeated. West fired a shot into the creature's brain, which managed to severely injure it. The creature stumbled backwards and struggled to keep standing. It finally fell to the ground and began going into a trance-like state. "I think he's subdued for now." said West as he finished up with the recording. "Subject appears to be vulnerable to firearms and is now docile." Herbert went to help Dan up from the violent attack he underwent. "Are you okay, Dan? You got battered up a lot more than I did." "Yeah, Herbert, I'm just fine" replied Dan in an uncomfortable voice. "This was brilliant. My theory proved to be correct! Good thing there aren't any God-forsaken plagiarists around to steal my discovery. If a human subject was able to be brought back to life by the infusion of monster cells and re-agent, imagine what we could do, Dan!" "No, No, No! West, this was a complete misfortune. You turned that human into a monster! That wasn't an accomplishment to be proud of." "Well, Dan, an accomplishment is an accomplishment. Besides, he was dead already. It's not like we took an actual living person and transformed him into a monster. You know, I have a lot of different ideas regarding these monster cells. I can make creatures of immense power and size. Creatures that will obey. "Oh? How will that happen? questioned Dan.
"You remember that neural laser drill that Carl Hill had created in the 80's? That could be of use to us with human-sized specimens. Larger specimens though, will require more work. By the way Dan, you might want to call that girlfriend of yours. To tell her that you'll be working here for a while. We surely don't want to have her involved in these experiments. That could certainly be disasterous."

Part V: The Creation

Herbert West set about to find other skin samples from different types of monsters. Dan was dragged into the experiments, partially by his own unexplained fascination with what Herbert could do in these mad experiments. West and Cain booked flights to Texas to investigate a very large bat-like creature spotted in a cave. After the hotel accomodations were set, the duo headed over to the cave that supposedly housed the creature. West was carrying a large black bag that contained all the necessary instruments that were needed for this adventure. "You know, I've heard about those things before, Dan. They first appeared in various spots all over Japan. They're called 'Gyaos'. Just a few years ago, they started to multiply emensely. Now, they're apparently all over the world." "Well, Herbert, how do we even know there's going to be a monster here? For all you know, those reports could have been made up to attract attention." "Yeah? Well I don't think that made-up stories produce a death count of 43 locals, Dan. They were all horribly mutilated. Now, get the tranq gun ready."

Before entering the cave, they heard a high-pitched screeching noise coming from deep inside. Herbert turned on his flashlight and entered the cave first. They began walking further down the cave when Dan saw a thin beam of light coming from a far end. "It's here. Make sure your aim on the gun is steady. We don't want to end up as that thing's breakfast." Suddenly, a large form swooped from the top of the cave, moving rapidly towards the two. They jumped out of the creature's way, barely escaping death. Dan had a clear shot of the Gyaos and fired two shots. The Gyaos screeched in pain and began to fall to the ground. This Gyaos was a mere infant, standing only 7 feet tall, though having a large wingspan. West picked up a large rock and smashed it into the head of the monster. Dan fired 3 more tranq darts into its back. "Hmmm. It appears to be out cold for now."

West reached into the bag and pulled out a large blade and began to cut around the Gyaos' neck. He removed a piece of flesh that was about one foot long and six inches wide. He then took out two jars and put that flesh in one of the jars. "Now, we'll need something other than skin. Yes....the wing will do fine." "West, you're taking off its wing?" "Well, not the whole thing. Just part of it." replied Herbert. After the trip to Texas, West and Cain went back to Arkham to experiment on their find. Herbert decided to try something with this new skin sample. He injected the Gyaos flesh with his re-agent. West was amazed to see the wing beginning to grow back. "Imagine the possibilites, Dan. What we can create with these cells and my re-agent. Why, we can construct a monster using the cells from others." "Okay, Herbert. Don't go too far. There is no way in hell that we coul-" "No Cain!" exclaimed West, interrupting Dan. "Think about what we can get this creature to do. We'll win the Nobel Prize and go down in history as doctors who went beyond the boundaries of life!"

During the next few weeks, West and Cain gathered the Gyaos and Serpent flesh samples and slowly grew them to gigantic proportions. The use of radioactive energy and West's re-agent were the only catalysts needed in the experiments. They both rented the space of an abandoned warehouse in order to expand their work. Months passed and Dan was without a girlfriend, due to his compulsive attitude to continue with the strange experimentations being performed in Arkham. The creature was beginning to come together in the way that Herbert had imagined. West had items shipped in from different places around the country and took a leave of absence for a week. A large dinosaurian skull was among the last entries needed for this bizarre creature. When West returned, he brought the last necessary item needed for the conclusion of the experiments: Godzilla cells.

Chapter 6: Showdown

The monster was a modern-day Chimera. Its body was mainly reptilian, with the addition of Gyaos’s enlarged wings, the serpent’s tail, and the limbs of other kaiju. To see this creature in its entirety was horrific. West used a laser to drill through the creature’s head in order to implant a device in the brain. This device would allow him to have total mastery of the monster’s will. Before the gigantic skull was placed on the monster’s head for protection, West applied the G-cells. In minutes, the cells began to generate flesh around the creature’s head. Before the head was entirely covered with Godzilla flesh, Herbert poured in a gallon of his re-agent in hopes of speeding up the operation. For the next several minutes, nothing was happening. The massive fiend lay there on the floor motionless. West turned on the radio-controlled mechanism, from which he could command the monster. He began to yell into the speaker. “Awake! Damnit! Awake!” The monster was giving no reaction to West’s order. He grew more frustrated the creature’s inability to respond to stimuli. “Listen you freak of nature! You will do as you’re told! Now I command you to awake! Awa- -” Before West could finish his last word, the creature’s eye opened. It rose up and smashed through the ceiling of the warehouse. The total height was 30 meters tall. A roar was let out as a sign of its obscure “birth” into the world. The monster began to walk forward in an attempt to leave the warehouse, when Herbert stopped it. “NO! Stay where you are! Cease your ingress!” He spoke to it as if he was some policeman trying to stop a criminal. To Dan’s surprise, the creature remained still and stared at both of them. “It’s worked, Dan. We can control it. This is absolutely brilliant!” “Okay, so you’ve proved your point, Herbert. But, what are you going to do now? Put it in some zoo?”

“Of course not, Dan. This thing is going to combat the source of its power…he’s going up against Godzilla.” “Herbert, that’s insane! What do you hope to achieve by doing something like that? There’s no point to it!” “Nonsense Dan. We’ll see the creature that holds more survival skills. This one’s composed of many individual traits.” West held the control by his mouth. “Go forward! Walk!” After the command was given, the monster walked out of the warehouse trampling through the front end. It continued walking until West ordered it to stop. “Listen, Dan. We’ll just have the creature walk along the shoreline creating no damage whatsoever. Nearby civilians will see it and will immediately flee. No one will be harmed. You see, we give all the people enough time to get away and then we have the monster go into action.” “Are you sure you want to take that risk, West? What if some people are left behind?” “No one will be left behind! As soon as they say how ugly and horrifying that thing is, they’ll be sure to get the hell out!”

Using the hand control, Herbert signaled what direction the creature was to walk. It trailed across Arkham going east towards the ocean. West and Cain pursued by car, while West continued to give directions via the control mechanism. Many people out on the streets watched in terror as the monster walked by. They almost reached their destination, when several Army helicopters flew in. The monster stopped and looked at the helicopters in amazement. Without warning, the serpentine tail swat at one of the choppers, sending it crashing into a high-rise. It prepared to attack the other choppers when West gave an order. “Stop! Stop!” The creature gave no response to West’s order and continued to attack. Herbert repeated to shout orders, but the monster continued to ignore them. It snarled at one of the choppers and bit into it. The ones remaining started firing missiles, but they were destroyed by the monsters’ ferocity. After the helicopters were obliterated, nearby buildings were smashed and brought to the ground. “No, God damnit! This wasn’t supposed to happen!” shouted West as he threw the control to the ground. The monster’s roars could be heard throughout the streets. “Herbert, what the hell’s going on! I thought you had that thing under your control!” “I don’t understand either. I properly implanted the signal in the creature’s brain, so it should’ve….Oh damn! Damn!” “What?! What’s the matter, West?!” “The Godzilla cells. They’ve taken control of the brain. My control was only temporary. Those cells have taken over the creature’s brain, causing my control to be lost. Now it has a will of its own.” Suddenly, a huge wave appeared, and something huge rose out of the ocean. It was Junior Godzilla. Only this time, he had grown larger since his last appearance in October. He was nearly 50 meters tall and had larger fins on his back. He certainly didn’t have to be called Junior anymore. He let out a roar challenging his opponent. The creature heard Godzilla’s roars and opened up its wings, taking to the sky. Godzilla walked to the shore to get closer to the enemy, when the creature swooped down, causing Godzilla to careen back into the water. He rose up again and used his tail to bring the flying monster down. Godzilla walked over to the monster, lifted it by the neck and began to punch at its skull. The abomination grew a stinger-like object out of its arm and thrust it into Godzilla’s chest. Godzilla roared in pain and shoved the monster back. The monster absorbed Godzilla’s blood into its own body. Herbert watched the battle in anger. “My work. All of that hard work…useless!” “Hey, take it easy, West! We’ll be lucky if Godzilla destroys that thing before it has a chance to wreak havoc on the whole state!” A second stinger came out of the monster’s other arm. It forced both stingers in Godzilla’s chest in an attempt to drain a large dosage of blood. This time, Godzilla was quickly weakened by the attack. Herbert stared with amazement at both monsters. “West, let’s get the hell out of here! We don’t want to be that monster’s next victims!” “Oh, our work’s not finished here, Dan.” said West as he walked towards the control that he had thrown to the ground. He picked up the control and with much anger, he sent a signal into the device hidden in the monster’s brain. “Vile creature!” The monster screeched in pain and retracted the stingers from Godzilla’s chest. It began to shake its head convulsively, while its wings beat violently against its body. The wings stopped beating, and the head began to shake slower than before. It turned to face Godzilla with a dead look in its eye. The monster’s skull cracked open and tendrils came lashing out in Godzilla’s direction. The tendrils wrapped around Godzilla’s head and neck, but they were no match for his atomic ray. With the tendrils destroyed, the enemy began to spew a green substance from its mouth. “Overdose! There was an overdose of re-agent administered to the subject!” exclaimed West. Godzilla’s fins glowed and he let loose with an atomic blast directly into the monster’s visible brain. A tremendous explosion followed and the creature was no more. The fiery carcass dropped into the ocean and soon after, Godzilla disappeared.

After the ordeal, Herbert and Dan returned to Miskatonic. “Well, we did it, Dan. We went beyond the limits of any rational scientist. And yet, we have no proof to show for it.” “Look, Herbert. I don’t know what went on when all the years I was gone, but I could guess that it wasn’t anything pleasant! The next time I come around here, there’s no way in hell that I’ll assist you in any experiments! If you ever start up again in the future with your insanities, I swear I’ll have you locked up!” Within a few minutes, Dan Cain was gone from Miskatonic University and on his way back to New York. As the hours passed, and the news reported the terrible destruction, Herbert West contemplated on whether or not he was willing to give up “big” projects and just stick to simpler ones. Sure he’d cause a lot less havoc that way. Or maybe it was just time to put that syringe and re-agent away for good. Not a chance. After this experiment, Herbert West knew that he could accomplish anything he had his mind set on. Anything.

The End....Or is it?

i've been working on a zombie epic that i will turn into a script when i am done. it'll be goofy, cheesy but atmpspheric and scarey at the same time. its not going well at the moment, got a bad case of writer's block.

Klownzilla, great story! I love the action sequences, especially the opening battle in which Godzilla rips the kaiju in half. The violent imagery is lovely!

Thanks, Count. When I was writing it, I just had to make the kaiju battles wild just like in the G-movies. I wish that I could've done a comic strip to show what the other monster looks like.
