Keaton in 'Catwoman'

Apparently, reports indicate Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Ashley Judd starrer 'Catwoman'.
I think this is a pretty interesting move. A great way to kick off a potential frachise for Warner Bros., and Keaton could use the work.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Keaton and his age, I think it would be cool to see the original Batman back on the screen.

Keaton was always the best Batman, so if this is true I'll say I'm excited. As long as we don't have George Clooney return I'll be good.

There is no such thing as Catwoman without Michelle Phiefer. It just wouldn't be the same.

That's true... Michelle was great in Batman Returns... I am having a hard time seeing Ashley Judd as Catwoman... (?)

Michelle was kick-ass, although Ashley Judd is an excellent actress and she is PASSIONATE about this project.

On "Revealed with Jules Asner" she talked about how badly she wanted to play the character and how much she loved it...

It's a very good thing to have an actress go into a franchise with so much passion...it makes for a very good performance.

MICHELLE's catwoman differs from ASHLEY's cuz they're two different people. one is selina kyle and the other one is patience price or some weird "P" name. so... it's different. but to the transition to CATWOMAN, i can't picture ASHLEY kicking butt. i could picture MILLA (jovovich)but not ASHLEY.

i think ASHLEY could play the part as the PATIENCE PRICE character, but not CATWOMAN... she looks too innocent. i prefer REBECCA GAYHART. she looks more feline... or DENISE RICHARDS... not a judd.

I agree,MJ would be a much better fit.She has that enigmatic aura about her that AJ seems to be missing.Now before all the AJ fans go bonkers,i'm not saying she lacks talent,just the special something required for this role.


MJ has the looks,talent,mysterious(almost cold and distant personality),and seething sexuality,vulnerability,and screen presence to do the part justice.


It will be nice to see Keaton again,great in fact,he's the original and still the best.Just hope he's not just a residual character,but an integral part.It would be excellent if they expanded on Batman Returns,and their burdugeoning sexual attraction to each other.


But in the end,my first pick would still be M Pheiffer.She made that role hers,perfected it,and she had genuine chemistry with MK.Maybe they feel she's too old for the part,but i've seen her on TV recently and she still looks spectacular.

I never really liked Michele Pfeifer's looks. I like Ashley Jude a lot! Although Michele was awesome.

Michelle Pfeiffer is one of the most goregeous and talented actresses out there. She perfected Catwoman and her chemistry with Michael Keaton was believable and spot on. For me, there will be no other Catwoman, because Pfeiffer was too damn good in that role. I've got nothing against Ashley Judd, and think she's attractive, not as much as Pfeiffer though, but I can't see her pulling Catwoman off as well as Pfeiffer.

LOL guys I think this topic is supposed to be about Michael Keaton, not Ashley Judd/Michelle Pfeiffer. I for one would love to see Keaton back playing Batman, he'd probably need to hit the gym a little though.

As for which Catwoman I prefer, I'll have to agree with those who say Pfeiffer. She's stunningly, yet mysteriously, beautiful, capable of many things. Judd is an excellent actress but I can't see her in this role. But, you never know.

I don't have anything against Ashely Judd, so let's see what she does of the role. It'll be hard to beat Michelle P., though.
I just hope Catwoman will stay Selina Kyle and no Patience Price (what a name...Yoda Almighty!).

About Keaton coming back, sure it's great news because he IS Bats but...didn't he turn down the role in SUPERMAN LIVES when they fired Tim Burton, saying he'd only be Batman in a movie if Burton directed it?

I really hope he does this flick, Keaton really made Batman and it was a shame that he didn't stay on after Burton left the series. I think he coould have at least saved the tragedy that was Batman and Robin.

And if they do get Keaton to play Batman, use the suit from the original 2 movies, not the suped up crap from the two subsequent sequels.

for the comment about the catwoman being either SELINA KYLE or PATIENCE PRICE... it'll be PATIENCE PRICE. if it was going to be SELINA KYLE... why have judd play a role when it's already been perfected by someone else? and why would they have JUDD when PFEIFER's still available?

oh yea... i'm not sure if this site's legit but they have like all these cool insights about movies before they're ever released. i got the 411 about PATIENCE PRICE at upcomingmovies.com. i never heard of her, but i seen her character for a lil bit in one of the BATMAN cartoons. she has JUDD's characteristics. short black hair. heh. oh well.
