Yes this movie is a porqueria, what happened was it well i own it and was finishing watching it because the last time I saw it was like in Jan. and I didn't finish watching it well you might be thinking why i own it well I bought it because I saw it in my local video store for $3 well thats pretty cheap and by that time i didn't saw the movie since i went to see it in the theater so i decided to buy it and give it another chance. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

The last horror movie I saw, well it depends if u are talking about the films I own or a film I have rent.
Last night I watched Night Of The Demons ( film I own ) and it is always fun to watch this demon movie.
Rent : Tokio Fist from Tsukamoto, very good, very gory and violent.
Although it is not really horror but more a social - film.

You missed one of the best openings I've seen in ages, a collage of faked suicides shot for film class. Also, you missed some cool gore and probably missed the explanation for Ginger turning into a werewolf. She was attacked by one, then ***SPOILER*** it gets hit by a car and explodes.

George Clooney was cool as hell, the beginning was awesome, the whole vampireless part is great, that hot chick's dance makes the film greater, and when all vamp hell breaks loose, the incredible movie just keeps getting better!

Just watched Shocker, pretty cool but it was too much like A Nightmare On Elm Street.

As for From Dusk Till Dawn sequels, the second one is a fun ride with some completely gratuitous camera angles. The gore quotiant isn't as high but is still very present. There's also a great nude scene with a hooker.
From Dusk Till Dawn 3 was awesome, I'm sorry to those who despise it. It's gory as hell (decaps, head explosions, impalings, limb munching and MUCH more) and there's lots of T&A at the whore house. Too bad Rebecca Gayheart didn't drop her top.

Check them out but don't expect them to be on par with the first one.

More sci-fi than horror, perhaps, but I watched IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE last night...The last pure horror film I watched was Peter Collinson's FRIGHT (newly available on DVD from Anchor Bay), which is strongly recommended to fans of BLACK CHRISTMAS, WHEN A STRANGER CALLS and HALLOWEEN. It's very possible that the DVD release of this little known film could strike up another debate along the lines of "did HALLOWEEN rip-off BLACK CHRISTMAS?", as FRIGHT features many of the same elements that made up those classics, and came out well before either of them (1971). Not close to being in the same league as those, but still a suspenseful, solid little horror flick.

I like Wishmaster 1&2 - I would skip three though. I really like the guy who plays the djinn in those two - I think it's Andrew Divoff. It's a different guy in 3 so I immediately was turned off. I have decided that if and when I ever have kids I am just going to speak to them quoting Andrew Divoff and his delivery.

Imagine my little boy at little league baseball and he strikes out to end the game... afterwards he comes up to me....

BOY - Dad, I feel terrible - I lost the game.

Last night I saw Joe Dantes the Burbs
and I must say I loooooove it. This movie really keeps you guessing right to the very end. Plus its soooo hilarious. Rick Doucomon is hilarious in it. Like that scene where hes looking in Tom hanks refrigerator...and takes out a pineapple to eat it..in the morning? Pure genious!

And what about Tom Hanks? He sooooo funny here. Love that scene where he starts to eat the sardine, and later starts to cough...ha! I laughed my ass of.

Man wheres Joe Dante? He was such a cool director...Explorers, Gremlins 1 and 2, I think he also did The Howling right? Plus the Burbs wich I highly recommend..

I watched Gremlins on Comedy Central yesterday. It was pretty funny, but it was hard to digest that Spielberg glow. It didn't affect me with Poltergeist, but here, it was straightforward sappiness. Still, this is probably one of the best flicks to use when introducing a child to the genre.

Also, I tapped into my splatter sensibilities with Bad Taste. Peter Jackson is a genius!

Out of curiosity, I rented Teenage Caveman last night instead of watching The Howling. Bad move. Arrow was precise with his review. I couldn't even tell it was a horror film until the last ten minutes or so. Truly a waste of celluloid. The only aspect worth mentioning would have to be the brutal gore. I had a mini-marathon yesterday. I watched The Prophecy, Basket Case (with commentary), Brain Damage (with commentary), one half of Reptilicus, and three episodes of Tales From the Crypt (And All Through the House, Yellow, You Murderer).

Anyway...I LOOOVE ANOES 4...its my fave in the series.</font>

Yeah spidey, part IV way better. Part V has some good visuals though. But they dont make up for some things that just didnt make sense to me in Dream Child. Like for example: you know how Amanda Krugers spirit is locked away in that Assylum and she cant escape cause she commited suicide...why was she trapped in there? And all it took to free her was for that girl to "touch" her spirit in the shoulder? WTF? Who gave her the power to free spirits just by touching them on the shoulder? That didnt make sense to me.

And the stupid dialogue and bad editing is mostly seen (for me anyways) in the beggining of the film, through out that whole graduation scene. Most of the bad dialogue was dubbed to top it all off.
