Most people have more than one. For example: Last House on the Left was made by Wes Craven not to make audiences love him, but to put them through the most unsettling mood they have ever been in. I still liked it. Same with TCM and I Spit on Your Grave. These movies while they may not be loved by every fan(TCM is probably the most well liked of the three) need a place somewhere. I'll give another example: Student Bodies(does have some funny parts), a cheaply made early 80's slasher spoof that I love but is more of a guilty pleasure than a great movie. So what's yours?

Good call on "Student Bodies" dude! That is actually a funny arse film if you sit down and watch it. I thought I was the only one who'd seen it. Anyhoo, some of my guilty pleasures (some of which I'm ashamed to admit) are as follows:

Sleepaway camp
My Bloody Valentine
Happy Birthday to me
Hello Mary Lou --- Prom Night 2
Chopping Mall
Trilogy of Terror (the original)
Frogs
The Funhouse
Friday the 13th 1-5
The Blob

In case you couldn't tell, I'm a huge fan of 80's cheese flicks. They tend to have much more gore than films nowadays, and thats always fun.

Actually, I just remembered... "Frogs" and "Trilogy of Terror" were both from the 70's, not the 80's, but still fun nonetheless.

I thought I was the only one who liked prom night 2. It is cheaply made and rips off several movies but I like that girl vicki when she gets possesed by mary lou and starts being a bitch to everyone...
I also like the other prom night sequels and leprechaun 2 and dollman....
Don't tell anyone....
Sleepaway camp is pretty shocking
and chopping mall is good fun....
I will probabaly think of some more later on.

Heres a few:
CHOPPING MALL
SLAUGHTER HIGH
NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 1,2,3
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 5
TOURIST TRAP
CLOWNHOUSE
HALLOWEEN 3
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET PART 2

I know a lot of people who think these movies suck, or are just average at best - But I LOVE THEM!!!

I suppose most 80's slasher movies would be my guilty pleasure. These are just fun to watch if you are bored. Not to say I dislike your movies Hans (because all 3 are excellent), but in NO way would I consider them to be guilty pleasures. All three are very disturbing to me and are some of the only movies to leave me thoroughly disgusted. Got to hand it to the makers of each film though because that was what they intended the whole time.
