what series is better the Scream's or i still know's??

Easy question, since the Scream-series is way superior, eventhough part 3 was a bit off. But one positive thing can be said about the IKWYDLS-series, being that Jennifer Love Hewitt is waaaay prettier than Neve Campbell (who isn't bad herself, but still ...)

yeah i definitely have to go with the SCREAm series,as IKWYDLS just seems like TOO MUCH of a copycat!!SCREAM is great,as you are constantly guessing who the killer is,ands are never quite able to pinpoint him,whereas in "I KNOW" the killer is pretty much narrowed down to 2 people the entire movie!!!

also,SCREAM'S characters are much more interesting!!ya have DEWEY,dumbass cop,STU and BILLY,very intersting and funny killers....plus many more...what do we have in "I KNOW"??all of the characters seem too thin and and have that "been there,done that",feeling to them...

Yeah, obviously the "Scream" series is superior. But in all honesty, I thought the first full hour of IKWYDLS was pretty solid. If I had seen only sixty minutes of "Scream" and sixty minutes of IKWYDLS, and had to compare the two, I'd be hard-pressed to tell you which was better.

Of course, as the Bard once said, a good opening hour doesn't not a great slasher flick make.

i thought ISKWYDLS sucked firstly like you said its a lot more interesting when you dont know who the killer is but its not just that. another thing is that the killings (well most of them) where just pointless. in the first one he only killed people that he had to:
max because he was part of his prank on julie
the police officer and helens sister to get to helen
and thats pretty much it but in the second one he was killing everyone one for no reosen and i thought that was stupid.

There's no question. "Scream." "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was a good movie. The sequel just fell short. It basically killed what could have been a great franchise. What a waste?

I would say the Scream series but i do love I Know What U Did Last Summer i thought it was brilliant but i think that the scream series was better, but Scream 3 was abit crappy.

The Scream series by far, although I really liked the first IKWYDLS.

Scream 9.5/10 (One of my favorite horror films of all time)

Scream 2 9/10 (One of the most underrated horror films in recent years-loses a point due to the "Murder She Wrote" ending.)

Scream 3 7.5/10 (Easily the weakest in the series, this one is still a solid outing. Parker Posey was excellent, the copy-cat Kevin Williamson script wasn't)

I Know What You Did Last Summer 8/10 (A solid horror movie will a dumb ending. I "jumped" a lot while watching this film).

I Still Know... 2/10 (After a solid opening, this movie went quickly down the drain. Yuck, I watched this once in theaters and probably will never watch again.)

I would say the real question is which is better IKWYDLS or Scream 3?

I thought Scream was okay the first time I watched it, but after when I saw it again it just plain sucked. 5/10. I thought Scream 2 was actually entertaining but the ending had me wondering WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??!! It could've gotten 8/10 from me, but just because endings are very important in a movie, I give it 6/10. Then, Scream 3 was not gory at all and there was not much violence, but I actually liked it. The best of the series. 7/10. None of the films were scary but there were a few tense scenes (the scene in Scream where she's in the car and the killer is outside, in Scream 2 when Gale is trapped in the college and the killer is after her, the dream sequence in Scream 3).

I liked I Know What You Did Last Summer a lot. It was actually the first slasher I ever saw. There were a few jump scenes and one scene that I thought was really scary (when she finds the body in the trunk). 8/10. I Still Know... was just really bad though. It was so stupid, there were no surprises and it was obvious who would die and who would live (unlike the first one, which actually caught me by surprise on a few counts) and the characters made the stupidest choices, which made me not like them very much. 4/10.

Okay, so from my revies, the average score for the Scream series is 6/10, but so is the one for the I Know... series. So I would say I like I Know... better, just cuz the 1st one was good.

I thought the scream series was clever and brought new things into the world of slasher films when they were shambling along like a corpses in Romero film.
