When ever you see the Blade movies, doesnt it piss you off that aside from Frost and the Reapers,Vamps are played as wimps.
In Vampires, most of the hunters are handed their heads by Valek, who breaks thankfully the sterotype!
Who would win Blade or Valek?

***************** SPOILERS *****************
While Blade is one badass fighter his power over his foes is based on the power of silver.
Allow me to digress first:
I think an interesting thing that was left out of the movie Vampires was why were they using guns?? It was explained very well in the book:
*************** MAJOR SPOILER***********
In the book they didn't start off using guns, they used pike poles, crossbows, stakes, and strong halogen lights. When a master vampire attacks and kills most of the team the priest stabs him in the head with a silver cross.
As the story progresses they figure out that while silver will not kill it does hurt them. Thus they have the vatican ship silver which they have there local Bishop contact bless (in the book the vampires do not like Holy objects or ground unlike the movie).
********************************************
Where they using silver bullets in the movie? Don't know?
Valek does melt when hit with silver, didn't even die with a stake in the heart. Another thing that was only hinted upon in the movie was the speed of the vampires (they ar every fast). The leap Valek does to catc hthe truck is easily equal to any of Blades.
I think that unless Blade could get Valek into direct sunlight he'd wind up nothing more than a meal that put up a bit of a struggle.

No they did not use Silver bullets in the movie. There were alot of diffrences when you compare the movie to the book.
Blade is pretty resourcefull and carries alot of weapons,so he could take Valek with that arsenal he carries. But if he didnt valek would take him.The guys just too Strong.
