Allen turned 52 this year, and should make a horror comeback as the mother of any of the new heroines. The last time I saw her was in a small role as Albert Brooks’ girlfriend in OUT OF SIGHT (1998). She was previously married to CARRIE director Brian DePalma, and was originally up for the title role in that film (she and Sissy Spacek switched roles).

I don't really like Palma which I consider too vulgar but I have to admit that Blow Out ( Travolta and Allen were brilliant ! ) kicks ass !!
I like the split - screen use, this is a De Palma's trademark obviously.

Aside from her promising turn in "Dressed to Kill", I'll always remember Nancy Allen as Officer Lewis in ROBOCOP. She rocked in that part.

shes one of those "forever young" people, like johnny depp. she will be 73 years olf and look like shes 40! i loved her on ROBOCOP! directed by paul verhoeven baby!

I've been searching for this topic for days now.......Nancy Allen deserved a Best Actress nomination for her superb, vulnerable, sexy, tragic performance in BLOW OUT.

When I think of Nancy Allen the movies: Robocop, Dressed to Kill and Carrie immediately come to mind. So these must be my favorites.

Nancy Allen also did the Robocop sequels, but neither is really worth the effort. Stick to the Paul Verhoeven original.
