I also think the most gruesome death is when Max gets it in ISKWYDLS or when that black dude gets it in ISKWYDLS.

The hooks used by the zombies/ghosts that came back to overcome the coastal town in Carpenter's THE FOG. Also used for pounding on the doors.

Pam in The Teaxs Chainsaw Massacre, because she doesn't just die at first, but she hangs there holding on to the hook that is shoved in her back. It makes me think about what I would do if that were me.

Deaths caused by Pinhead and his hooks also all of Candyman's deaths were pretty gruesome.

This is the problem with modern horror, fans will typically overlook great films like Candyman. Those horror/thriller sequences in IKWYDLS/ISKWYDLS are nothing compared to those in the Candyman series. Candyman would whip Ben Willis' @ss as well, he's nothing but a dumb redneck imo. All weak deaths in IKWYDLS/ISKWYDLS, not even worth mentioning.

Ya know what? That is hands down the smarted thing anyone has ever said on this site. Candm** rules all killers. Ben Willis is nothing compared to The Sweets. I still dont like to use the bathroom at night because I got dared to say his name 5 times once. I still think he will be after me...

I hate when there are polls like this and almost EVERYONE gives the same answer. Okay, Pam's death in "Texas Chainsaw Massacare" was awesome and the killings in "I Know/I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" were...eh...okay, but I thought I'd be original.

Janey's death in "Sorority House Massacre II". Pulled behind a kitchen counter and WHACK!

Suzanne's death in "Sorority House Massacre II". Foot caught in a bear trap, then dragged off camera and WHACK!

Pam in TCM. Like some of you said earlier, what could you do? You would have to just hang there and die painfully. Couldnt pull yourself up and at the same time she was watching her bf getting hacked up with a chainsaw!
