The only horror film that has come close to actually making me feel sick was DEAD ALIVE. The pudding scene is enough to explain why.

Every time H.P. Lovecraft's From Beyond comes on, I end up with a stomach ache hours later. I remember the first time I saw "Bubba"(Ken Foree) get eaten by the flies, I nearly puked.

The Nut-Job, razor blade, Mattress scene in Hellraiser 2 is MESSED UP!

the start of the end (is there such a thing?) of Dead Alive where the zombie breaks down the door then proceeds to rip out that dudes rib cage..brilliant! but made me shut it off for about 5 minutes.

I CAN NOT WATCH the grande finale of Hanibal. I thought the movie stunk but seeing Ray Liota's head cracked open is tough.

I LOVE it, EVERYONE seems to hate that part! From the first time I heard a friend of mine complain about it TEN years ago up to now, NO body likes that scene! It seems to be universal!!! That's funny.

And as far as scenes:

Day of the Dead (can't even talk about which scene)
and ditto on the From Beyond insect scene. That's just wrong. Wrong man, wrong.

No horror movies have really made me sick to my stomache. The woman throwing up her insides in Gates of hell and the lawnmower scene in Dead Alive were proudy gory but not to the point of making me sick.

Ive got to say, that if it envolves gore, i will hold my hands up and say i can take anything, but when things start to get slimy, my stomach becomes a little wobbly...

Major case on hand being that of Street Trash, a tale of (among other things) a $1 wine being sold off to the homeless community in i believe NYC (sure someone ll correct me). However, this wine has somewhere along the line been laced with some wierd toxic chemicals and causes any of the Vagrants who drink it, to Scuzz out into a puddle of multicoloured goo in the most unpleasant of fashions... Not only are the FX high on the gross scale, but the whole film, while following the lives of a whole host of the homeless and assorted lowlives on the seedy underbelly of society, just feels dirty and sleazy... you would want a shower just having to touch the tape afterwards, such is the sleaze oozing from every pore of its surface...

I would offer any one of you shmoes here a challenge if you think you can take anything... To watch Street Trash before dinner... In my opinion, it is without a doubt one of the most unpleasant viewing experiences of my life... now thats not necessarily a bad thing tho...

There has been many scences where i 've felt disturbed or emotionally moved or where i've had to turn away for a second, but nothing that has made me feel sick to the stomach. For example - in 'Cannibal Ferox' where the young girl had sharp spikes pushed through her breasts , that made me flinch. Or the scence in 'Hannibal' when Dr Lector was cutting and frying parts of the young guy's brains.

P.S Sorry, i'm not very good at remembering names so i do apologise.

The only time I ever felt sick watching a film was during Lucio Fulci's 'City of the Living Dead' aka 'Gates of Hell' where the young woman sees the dead priest, her eyes start to bleed and she then vomits up her stomach and intestines.....

You mean you could eat and enjoy a triple-cheese pizza while watching someone's brains, guts, arteries, etc. being pulled out, or chomped on?;)

Fucking DEAD ALIVE PUDDING SCENE. This is the ONLY scene that makes we wanna puke everytime i see it

Anything from the first faces of death film.

I found out 5 years later that it was 90% totally fake... so that helps knowing that now...

But when you're a 14 year old boy and your mother lets you rent anything in the horror section all of your life EXCEPT for that movie, you get curious, and a friend and I rented it one summer day... man...

I was drinking a soda, and the taste went right out of my mouth... the images stayed in my head for weeks...

I'm am very into gore.(just look at my name) I've seen everything: Evil Dead Trilogy, Dead Alive, Demons and almost every other movie known for it's gore without flinching. But their was one movie that was just to much for me.

After seeing it recommended by many people, i decided to get an unrated copy of Dawn of the Dead. At first i was sort of miffed at the gore, i didn't expect the zombies to take such big chunks out of people. But the scene that made me want to puke came at the end, when a biker has his stomach slowly opened up on camera, then his intestines are slowly dragged out and eaten. All of this is on camera and you see his face and hear his screams through the whole thing. It was just to much to me.

I do agree that that scene in dawn of the dead was very very disturbing, and strikes a serious tone in horror.

On the same note *Zombie spoiler?*

I found it more so disturbing not when the woman got her eye punctured into the wooden splinter, but when we find her later in the evening, lying lifeless as zombies are just sitting there, eating out her flesh, and she has that lifeless blank stare with only one eye that's staring towards the ceiling.

Good scene in horror cinema, nonetheless.

Had the closeup of *NOTLD Spoiler*

Tom and Judy's severely burned corpses being dragged about and eaten shown up much closer, I feel that would have been a better moment for the film when Barbara starts gagging.

Kweenie,

BRIDE OF THE RE-ANIMATOR also sports the Bride falls apart scene that is unpopular.
The way Jeff Combs moved the veins shows how one can be so immune to the grotesque when you live around it.
He was very cute when that scene came on, very animated, so to speak.

I almost got sick when I was watching F13 6 with a cold. Jason was getting his neck sliced open with a boat motor and I had to turn it off because my cold prevented me from enjoying it.

I'm so glad that two of you mentioned the girl throwing up her intestines in Gates of Hell.

I was in high school at the time and really into to zombie/gore movies. But that particular day my best friend and I went to see it, my stomach was upset. No movie has ever caused me to react physically, but I came as close to puking right there as I ever have.

I still don't know how they did that scene. Someone told me (who knows if this is true or not) that they actually had the girld eat sheep intestines raw and then did something to make her throw it all back up for the camera.

No matter how they did it, it's the worst I've ever seen. Cannibal Holocaust and Salo both come in second just as films. The entire movie is sickening for both of those mindfucks!!!!

i love the fact that they used real animal intestines in that scene and at the end of the take everyone ran away from the bad smell

In the House by the Cemetery were Dr. Freudstein repeatedly stabs that women with the fireplace poker with closeup shots of blood pouring out and shots of her face screaming in pain. That part was bad enough but then he stabs here in the throat and what seems like a neverending flows of blood sputs all over her face and body. Gruesome.

There are two films that stand out in my mind that almost made me"Leggo my Eggo!" when I saw them.

1. BLOODSTONE:SUBSPIECEIES II -my cousin rented this rather bad piece of direct-to-video filmaking one night early in June of '93. Most likely due to the fact that I didn't eat that much during the day, and it was rather hot humid played a factor in this. I was rather bored watching this, but when they got to the scene where that one chick was turning into vampire, drank that guys blood, became disgusted with herself, and puked it up,and it hit the ground with a sickening "splat". It felt like for a few minutes there, that someone had kicked whatever was holding up my stomach, and I nearly lost it right then and there.

2. THE FLY REMAKE- Mainly because I wasn't expecting this, but when Seth Brundle started puking, my gut felt like they retracted for a second, and I decided it was a good time for me to take a leak.

I usually have a strong stomach when it comes to gore and violence usually the most it makes me do is wince away, but the first 30 mins of Irreversible is some EXTREMELY! and i mean EXTREMELY! graphic shit , there's a 9 min graphically vicious scene where Monica Belluchi is raped then brutally beaten ( that scene alone was almost impossible to watch for me, i felt very sickend) then if that shit wasn't enough were treated to a scene where a man is repeated smashed in the face with a fire extinguisher" what makes this scene so disturbingly sickiningly graphic is that the camera never cuts away it really felt like i watched someone beaten to death right before my eyes". If you think i'm over stretching it alittle i guess you could see it for your self, but be warned it's VERY! fuckin tough to watch.
