My vote goes to Jerry Dandrige from Fright Night.
Others that I like are David from The Lost Boys, Evil Ed, Regine from Fright Night Part II.

1. Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon) in FRIGHT NIGHT
2. David (Kiefer Sutherland) in THE LOST BOYS
3. Severen (Bill Paxton) in NEAR DARK

SEVVIE!
The most shit-kickin vamp beats out Dandridge.
But Dandridge comes in second.

Grace Jones in VAMP deserves mention, since she was wayyyyyy toooooo freaky as a stripper vamp.

Klownzilla, you know how to get a vamp fans heart aflutter.

STEVERENO,
I know you are going to put David first.

I moved, and took a break from being glued to my screen, STEVERENO, buddy o pal o mine.

JESSE from Near Dark kicked some major ass, all the while sporting some wicked rat tail hairpiece.
Homer was just downright annoying.

And when did they have the time to put their feet into their boots? As soon as thier toes let go of the ceiling, they flew out of the cave without doing anything else. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Jerry Dandridge! By far, he is one hell of a sexy, dynamic vampire! (I'll get around to watching FN 2 one of these days guys, I promise!) David was a good one, too. Speaking of the boot thing, good point. I never thought about that. Say, I wonder if the actors in movies, (our fave vampire movies actually) got to keep any of the props? Like Amy's oil painting in Fright Night? Surely, she got to keep it!

Fright Night had so many props. I wonder if Roddy McDowall kept the Peter Vincent outfit...

Typically i'm gonna side with Lady S. on this one. Jesse and Severen were the best of the 80s vamps by an olympic mile.
