Tales From The Crypt is the only one i have enjoyed. I destested the Friday the 13th series, for some unknowable reason, and I havent seen any of the rest, although if the twilight zone is as good as the twilight zone movie, i'm sold.

"The X-Files" and "Tales From the Crypt". BTW, does "Millennium" count?

Boris Karloff's THRILLER is the scariest TV series ever aired, IMO. Very nasty for it's time, and many of the episodes were adapted from WEIRD TALES and other great old horror pulps. We got tales from Robert Bloch, August Derleth, Robert E. Howard, Poe (where's Lovecraft?)...you can't beat that. Creepy and awesome.
THE TWILIGHT ZONE and OUTER LIMITS come in close behind, of course, and though TWIN PEAKS wasn't "pure" horror, it was nightmarish enough to deserve a place in the top 5. THE X-FILES had several great horrific episodes, and even though it petered out towards the end, TALES FROM THE CRYPT is still one of the best horror anthologies ever. Nods also to the uneven (but occasionally brilliant) TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE, NIGHT GALLERY and DARK ROOM. Oh, and KOLCHAK : THE NIGHT STALKER, for the cheese. TV just ain't fun like that no more.

I actually would probably say Tales From The Crypt.
I love Buffy and Angel, but I count those as more of dramas than actual horror series.

"Tales from the Crypt", definitely. It's one of my favorite TV shows ever. What's with all of you posting "Buffy" and "Angel"? They are SO not horror.

Yeah, anything with supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves, demons, mutants on the prowl, killing people is horror in my book.
