Gremlins or Gremlins 2 which one do you like more?

I'm going to side with part 2. What more could you ask from a monster movie. Part one is great but part 2 is even greater.

Rock on man! Part 2 was hilarious! I loved the part where they sing Sinatra's New York, New York.

I like Gremlins better, it had more of a horror element to it than The New Batch. I loved G2 as well, but they are completely different in tone. I especially didn't like having Kate's character poking fun at the heartwrenching story about her father by making the "Abe Lincoln" story in G2. Yeah it was funny, but it totally undermines the seriousness of what happened to her father.

I did like all the nifty creative ways they came up with to make all the different type Gremlins in G2. And Tony Randall rocked the house http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif .

I give them both 10's in my book, but I like Gremlins better.

OK. I enjoyed both a whole lot. but Part 2 is a bit better, who couldnt love the germlin who sang, new york new york, and the dude who dressed up as a vampire, there both grand movies, but the sequel is grandER.

I just saw another version of Part 2 where Hulk Hogan had a cameo! And let me tell ya brother, it was pretty funny.

part two had hulk hogan and gremlins singing new york new york, so it's greater then part 1

i saw that two, i think they had one in the cinmea and the other was showed on video or something.

I'm going to say Gremlins 2, I've seen it more times than the original and I just find it hillarious, especially with the Gremlins singing "New York, New York"

Gremlins 2 was ingeniously funny. I do not think I have ever laughed so hard. Glover as the Donald Trump doppleganger was good.

The "Abe Lincoln" speech was added because the controversy around her dad's death speech in the first one. They wanted to parody it. Rick Baker did an outstanding job giving many of the gremlins their own personality.

I like the gremlin who is mistaken for Gizmo by Kate. His laugh made me laugh. It turns out, when Gremlins 2 was released, it was the best reviewed movie that year according to Premier Magazine. Averaged ***1/2 out of ****.
